So, I’ve had my z for about 6 months now. Got it with 300 miles on it. It’s at 9000 miles now and I’ve already had many electrical issues. First, at 1500 miles all the buttons on my steering wheel stopped working. Brought it in and they replaced my steering wheel. Another issue that popped up before the steering wheel replacement was occasionally the tcs and auto speed control for cruise control would flash about 10 times then stop. It’s been doing that on and off ever since, probably once for ever hour I drive the car and it lasts about 30 seconds to a minute. Now, I woke up to my horn just blaring as if someone was holding the horn on. Went outside and couldn’t stop it by turning it on and off, pressing horn, or toggling my locks on the keychain. It only stopped when I opened up the battery panel and just slightly touched the fuse box next to the battery. Don’t know how that could have stopped it but I’m very worried I’m going to find more and more problems as time goes on. Anyone got any advice? I’m am definitely bringing it back into the dealer for another checkup but honestly I feel I’m doomed to future electrical issues if I keep it. What would I ask the dealer mechs for? Full electrical inspection?
