Long story short, I have a teaching degree. I got it through the national guard, I’m currently working as an electrician and I can’t find anything on the civilian side that I enjoy. I genuinely hate every job or career I do and some odd reason I enjoy the Army. I’m only 25 and also married so I’m strongly considering going active. I specifically want to be a 19K and drive tanks, am I crazy for this ? Did any of you with career options choose to go active instead ?

Edit: I’m also no longer in the ARNG, I got out over a year ago.

Long story short, I got delayed for purchasing a shotgun. I’ve never been delayed before and I’m curious as to why ? Apparently I gotta come back within the next few days to get it. It’s also 5pm on a Saturday but yeah, is this common ? Just curious from others experiences.

Edit: it’s in Alabama and I don’t have any criminal history. I’m also prior military, idk if that would matter either. I was honorably discharged as well.

Edit 2.0: I found my answer, there’s a guy with the exact same name as me with multiple felony arrest and also lives in the exact same county as me. I never knew this until I googled my name. What an odd scenario lol. I’ll leave this post up for someone else that could benefit from it.
