Hello Everyone,

I'm in a bit of confusion and need some advice from people who've faced similar situations.

I have a flight with IndiGo on 8th May (booked on 27th Feb). In my app, the booking still shows as confirmed, everything looks normal.

But I called customer care yesterday just to check because I heard there have been cancellations on some routes recently. The agent told me that my flight is currently showing as "suspended" in their system and may or may not operate. He also said I'll get a follow up, but they cannot commit anything from their side.

The issue is:

If I wait and it gets cancelled at the last moment, I'll be in trouble

Last minute tickets will be super expensive

But if i book another ticket now as backup, and later this flight actually operates, I'll end up with two tickets and lose money

So I don't know what to do honestly.

Has anyone faced something like this recently with IndiGo?

Do these "suspended but still confirmed in app" flights usually operate later, or are they basically going to get cancelled?

Also, what would you guys do in my situation wait it out or book a backup ticket?
