Refresh day!

Switched from Arctic Fox to Iroiro and I have to say, I love the formula nice and thick. This is bubblegum pink with a hint of neon pink and aqua. Did a pivot money piece for funsies! Also, the glow on the pink is INSANE!

hEDS and ankle joint stability

So I have long suspected I have hEDS. Because of this I have chronic severe ankle sprains, my ankles are like freaking jello. I’m currently in PT (for the 4962 time) to heal a severe sprain I had back in January. The problem is…this is all cyclical. I sprain it, I rehab it, I sprain it, I rehab it. Repeat repeat repeat. My ankles (specifically my left one) have so much damage at this point and it just gets worse and worse with each sprain. One thing my orthopedic doctor has mentioned is going in and cleaning out the joint and placing internal stabilizers. My orthopedic doctor says he worries I might regret it and feel too tight after surgery. My PT today said she thinks I have SO MUCH laxity it might be my only shot at having a semi normal joint. Has anyone with hEDS had internal stabilizers placed and in fact gotten too tight (honestly, too tight sounds lovely 😭) or is it more like my pt says and it pulls me closer to the side of normal? I’m 36, I’m active and I love being outside. I’m genuinely worried about the longevity of my ankle joints at this point in life at my current pace.
