Some of my old Cds

Got all my old cds out earlier for the kids to have a look through, realised the cd player is broken so they're all going away again. Snapped a quick pic of my NiN collection.

Consumer Unit Replacement

I'm looking into getting air conditioning fitted and would need my consumer unit updating. House is 1970s with an extension in the early 2000s. Can anyone give a ballpark figure on costs? I will be getting some local guys round to quote but want a rough idea of what I'm looking at before they come round. Thanks in advance

Valliant ecotec boiler keeps turning itself on

As per title, I've got a Valliant ecotec boiler that is approximately 9/10 years old. Every year, when we have hot weather, it kicks in in the evenings. *Every bloody time, without fail* it's been on tonight, last night, the night before...all the settings are correct, it's got good pressure, its serviced regularly. Nothing helps. All the rads are turned off except the one that we can't. Is this just a Valliant thing? Has my boiler been faulty for the last 10 odd years? This heat is horrendous and then we have to put up with the heating coming on as well 🤦‍♂️

First Direct bank switch

I'm going to try the First Direct switch as I haven't had an account with them for about 8 years. In their terms it says 2 direct debits or standing orders are required to be switched. I've set up 2 standing orders to myself, would these count? I'm going to assume so unless someone can tell me otherwise.
