So I was at a gathering the other day and saw someone with the Chanel 23B Hobo in pink velvet. Immediate crush. Asked for the price and some pics, then sent them to my friends and family ，and everyone agreed it's stunning.

My sister, in particular, was obsessed. She asked for close-ups and the price too, but said she’s being financially responsible right now so she wasn’t planning to buy another bag anytime soon.

Honestly, I get the hype. Unlike the classic CF, this one has a crescent-shaped, open-top hobo silhouette, a front flap pocket, double C turn-lock, and vintage diamond quilting. The chain comes with that iconic N°5 charm (CHANEL PARIS 5), which is a sweet nod to the No. 5 perfume.

But the real showstopper? The material. It is made of dried rose pink velvet which this pink gradient presents different colors under light, and the texture is extremely soft and luxurious.Totally different from regular calf or lambskin. Super vintage elegant vibe. Inside is matching full-grain lambskin lining.

As for wear and feel，it's definitely an underarm bag. Worn as a shoulder bag, the chain is way too long, and adding a clip adjuster isn't super easy either.In terms of capacity, it's about the size of a mini CF card and can fit cards, a phone, a lipstick, keys, and a small bottle of hand cream，and that's basically it. Feels like it fits a bit less than the mini CF though. There’s a front and back pocket, but they're super flat which only good for a card or receipt. No flap or zipper, so it’s easy to reach in and grab stuff.

Anyway, I already secured the bag. Now all I need is some random low-key pouch to hide it in and surprise her for her birthday in a few days. 🎁
