should I start playing ranked or practice more?

Hello fellow gamers,

I hope you're having a snazzy day/night!

I'm in dire need of your advice about starting to play ranked.
I have played Siege when the game became free, I think that was season ten, all I remember it was last year around summer.

I've played for 58 hours but I quit the game as I found it too hard and sweaty (sorry) as I had to learn many operators, setups, spawns etc..I won't name everything you know the drill.

These were my stats in that season (I'm no pro in FPS games but I love the competitive environment please don't be harsh on me) :
58 Hours Playtime
135 Matches Played with 68 Wins (50.3%)
563 Eliminations with 364 Headshots

For Attackers I played, Nokk 48% - Kali 44% - Hibana 39.4% and Ace 58.3%
For Defenders I played, Ela 62.1% - Jager 47.4% - Smoke 46.5% and Mira 51.3%

3 weeks ago I've decided to give Siege another try as I miss the fun of 5vs5 competitive games and I couldn't find any game that fits the bill( I've played csgo and cs2 but that game is doomed with cheaters and trolls. )

This time I came with a different mindset that I'm going to give it at least 40 hours of gameplay and try to play it the right way without making it way too complicated.

I've started playing more simpler operators that made me focus on the game in itself instead of getting overwhelmed by the game and what I should do with the operator.
These are my current stats :
40 Hours Playtime
90 Matches Played
48 Matches Won

For Attackers I played, Nokk 53.5% - Ash 47% - Gridlock 45.6% - Ace 41%
For Defenders I played, Smoke 49.1% - Melusi 45% - Thorn 62% - Ela 56.2%

You might see Smoke and Nokk in the list but this was just a preference at first which I switched from as I found more rewarding operators like Smoke, Gridlock(Even though my WR sucks with her but it's been getting better and I enjoy playing her) , Thorn and Ela.

Also most of the operators I have at least 42 games with besides Ela with 32 games only.

And I'm still trying to get the hang of Melusi and how can I step her traps to get almost 100% of her kit.

As you can see I still suck as an attacker but that's due to me getting tilted when my teammates just rush and die without any purpose and I've changed my mindset even if it's 1v4 or 1v3 it's still winnable which still produced some clutches somehow!

My aim is not the greatest as I'm very rusty and don't have enough time to practice all I do is a small warmup before a session of games, unfortunately I have a job and I want to spend most of the time actually gaming and not shooting red dots!

My knowledge of the maps is getting better and better with each game I play, the only ones that I suck dick and get overwhelmed in are kafe dostoyevsky, skyscrapper and theme park as those are rarely picked by the algorithm when I play for some reason.

I would love if you share more tips with me on what I should learn, what would help me learn quicker and if I should start playing ranked games or I would just ruin the experience for the other 9 people.

Thank you in advance and I wish you the best teammates in your Ranked games.
