Let the enemy come to you

The amount of games where my teammates thirst for kills is irritating. We’ll be in a 4v2 and mfs will just pour out of site just to die 1 at a time. They have to kill or plant to win don’t just waste your life trying to hunt them down they have to come to you

Flores

Hey guys, I’m curious what the best way and what scenarios Flores is good in. I haven’t played him much, but his ability seems a little mid to me. However, I love his Altaïr elite, so I’d like to play him more.

In need of help for map control

Hello, not a good player yet, hit emerald v as my peak a year ago, started same year. On my journey to hit and surpass my peak in 3.0, I've noticed improvement and I've noticed issues. Map control is one of my biggest downsides, i tend to know where strong map control is, example being security on 2f border, but as a defender when i defend it, i feel so, so SO enclosed and pressured even when one barricade is broken. I tend to end up dying in said spots too, my latest one is a 3,2,1 that an enemy did with the window bari and a ram bugi on the door, i was castle. Is there any tips on how to make me calm down more on defense when holding vital positions my team needs? Map control is the main thing i want to work on for these few weeks as im segmenting what i improve on. I tend to be a little scared to peek open baris or angles attackers make on defense because of my lack of info and my fear of just feeding. I don't want to be THAT teammate that swings everything and dies early on, but i guess I'm STILL dying early on so idk.

What do you guys look at when you are aiming?

Is it better to look at your crosshair when aiming or do you look at where you think the enemy will be? I'm asking because my aim is ass and I hit to many body shots.

I can I improve?

I've been playing siege for a while now a few years ago I stopped playing but this year I got back into it and I played better than before but now I'm hard stuck bronze and can't get out. These past few days have been pretty bad I dropped from bronze 1 back to bronze 3 I'll admit it wasn't just my opponents or teammates its me I feel like pretty lost and don't know what to do and I get nervous during some situations which cause me to lose a lot of gunfights. Like I said I play nervous and scared to drop even further. I'm not sure what happened just last week I was doing good but then I just started losing and losing. And when I try to shoot back I just get put on my back, like my aim is pretty good but how can I improve? I want to get a higher rank and start playing like how I used to

improvement

ive been playing r6 for a while and have about 250 hrs on the game so far. my aim is good and have a 1.4 kd but my game sense is pretty low. i usually find myself just choosing an op and using their abilities but not really understanding specific strats on how to play them or optimal ways to position myself. my map knowledge is also pretty bad and want to hear any tips that can help me rank up

Am I doing it all wrong

I play literally every game solo q so I play full support every round nmw. Most of the time my sole purpose is the exterior walls regardless of the map/site. All I ever play is bandit/kaid and thermite/thatcher. My logic is that as long as I can get or deny the wall my chances of winning should skyrocket… obv that’s not the case so I ask should I try a new approach or is that a good approach generally?

I’m in bronze lobbies btw

I cant rank up and I dont know How can I improve

Hi

Im playing since 2020 Steel wave operation and I quit in 2022 and comeback last year in siege x. Im solo queue all the time because I dont have friends who play siege and I dont know how can I rank up by myself. My current rank is Bronze 2 and I tried every single way to improve.

warm up before a game

give them callout ( although with comm bug I type in chat )

helping my team by playing support like playing Thermite/Bandit/Smoke ( and nobody cares at all most of the time )

Side setup/Droning/Trying to Control map as Attacker or Defender/Using utility/Plant Bomb/

Im just wanna say that Im trying to play well and be helpful for my team. I dont have decent aim and have some problems with positioning but I cant rank up.

I know I cant blame my team because Im solo so that means I agreed with this but all Im seeing is smurfs and people who dont belong Bronze and somehow playing here

I just wanna be Gold ..... fucking Gold.

If you have similar problem or you know how to fix it tell me because I cant find it by myself

thx for reading

How to stop settings syncing to different PC?

I play on two different PCs and the settings are different (resolution, FOV, customised controls), but the game always sync settings, is there a way to stop it?

How do I know if I really have bad aim?

Ok, so I'm not gifted like the pros but neither do I have potato aim.

Currently my stats stand at -

Gold 3, 0.95KD, 71% kost

But again, due to my PC config, I'm forced to play at 90FPS a 120Hz monitor, and due to my location, on ~80-90ms Ping.

I can't do anything about the ping and if I push to anything above 90, my CPU crashes.

So am I being limited by my hardware or skill?

I've got nearly 250 hours but I don't think I've improved very much, I'm still at the bottom of the leaderboard the majority of the games and I usually die first, while my friends who have like half my play time are like all golds or plats. I don't really know what to do at this point

I suck at siege

I have been playing siege for about 3 ish years on and off. I play with a group of friends who are much better than me. I’m struggling with recoil control, aim and reaction time. I’ve had a 0.3 KD since I’ve started to play ranked and only now have I started to get more kills and I’ve managed to make my way to just over a 0.5.
If anyone has any tips to help me with aim, recoil and reaction time please let me know!

Can't drop kills ever

i recently bought the ultimate edition of PC siege on steam, and this is my first season of ranked. my placement matches put me at bronze II, but i went down to bronze III after about 15 games. i keep playing constantly and i never stick to one operator because i was told not to, but it feels like for every single game i win i lose 2 games, and i either go 11-2-4, or i go 0-6-2, and more often then not i end up dying early and never drop kills. i have about 100 hours on steam, and roughly 60 hours of playtime. do i just suck, or is there real hope? if so, how can i improve?

can someone give me tips for improving?

I’ve been playing siege for half a year now, I was the best player among all of my friends, I’d carry them and I would average 8/9 kills at game. Then I stopped playing, now I’m the one that’s being carried, in almost all rounds I contribute nothing to the team if not losses. I’m genuinely desperate to improve, I’ve tried everything, watched tutorials, I’ve been practicing every day, but nothing changes, so my last resort is reddit. I have almost no reaction time and even if I click the joystick’s trigger it doesn’t shoot, idk if it’s my problem or if it’s a bug of the game (I have dead zone of both triggers at 0). Sooo, can someone please help me? or even teach me? (Ik that’s some stupid ass shit but I’m desperate)

Any advice for Copper III Level 329 players?

Running a 0.99 K/D and a 42.7% win rate. Currently Copper III 0 RP. Was placed in Copper III at the beginning of the season. This is my third most played season of Ranked ever, last season was number one. I’ve been playing Ranked since Operation: Health in 2017. I’ve since placed Gold six times and Platinum once. I can no longer play with my high Gold and Platinum friends because of my low rank.

Gamer tag on Xbox is Cyberman King. I am not a new player so any advice offered should keep in mind I am pushing 1.5k hours.

I have attempted to get help from coaches through VODs/livestreams, duo queuing with my Bronze friend, ChatGPT, watching clips and strategies on YouTube, etc. Since this subreddit is dedicated to helping people get better at the game, I have decided to post here.

How do I improve confidence?

First of all, I am not a very confident person. Unless Im staring down a pixel peak or an angle, I dont feel confident to do anything. I see people jumping into windows after droning, without fear or regret, and im sitting behind them and scared to even come through the same doorway. I do get confidence boosts to clutch or if I use a funny strat, but not to push through a building to get to the objective. My headphones and sound recognition are decent, but I personally start to freak out when I hear rapidly approaching footsteps. So how do I get rid of this "fear" of mine? (plus I just started playing ranked ever and it gets me on edge that when im the only one left and theres 4 people to kill and im still somewhere outside lurking)
