finally returned to siege and i decided to make a new account since i was gone for so long and i wanted to play with a friend who was doing the same so we both boot up our first games and genuinely struggled so much and felt like the bar was raised so high i wanted to uninstall after like 2 days.

to preface this, im by no means a good player like my most recent rank was d1 like 6 ish months ago before the ranked update and i could hold my own in those lobbies quite consistently like i wasn't good enough to hit champ that season while solo not that i didnt try but i was still decent

i went back on my old account afterwards and went on a decent winstreak and its gotten me so fucking confused that i dont even know if im good at the game anymore

i mainly play lion ,thatcher, nomad on attack and for defense its usually valk, alibi or echo so i understand that in terms of pure gunplay they arent the best picks but honestly even if thats the case i should still be winning in terms of game knowledge right? no ofc not it feels like every angle i remember is no longer used and the enemies are just doing the weirdest shit and if i dont drone every room in the building i get ambushed from a guy in the stupidest spot.

the aim is so bipolar in those lobbies too like half the time it seems like im going against people who have better aim than champs and other times I'm going against helen kellers grandkids and it makes it so difficult to tell what's actually going to happen i can never gauge a gunfight until after somebody dies

have coppers gotten that much better or have they always been decent and ive just never realised?

got my delta after a bit and honestly it seems kinda useless this wipe as keycards wont go in anymore (i understand purples, reds, greens and blues but orange should still be allowed tbh) and the new ammo system doesnt let you put bullets in the container and considering how most high value attachments or junk are too big to fit in the container it seems like there really isnt a use for the container rather than a dedicated box to put stims and promedols in.

ive gotten more than 20 spears since wipe and i do enjoy running them since with tracers they are straight evil. ive found most of them just from looting random lockers and its gotten to the point where i have more spears than mags for them and i can never find the mags anywhere so im wondering if im missing something or just getting unlucky

initally i thought it was buns bc of its awful coverage but honestly it seems to be crazy effective at stopping what hits it like moreso than ronins and c1300s it feels like and i cant tell if im just getting lucky or if its actually a good helmet choice

i played a few raids and i cant tell since some seem to have really good aim and others cant hit me even when im standing still

cant decide if i should come back for this wipe and i just wanna know if we actually have enough loot thats worth picking up i hated how much of the loot pool was just attachments and useless junk and there were only a few worthwhile loot items that could spawn in crates

trying to find a team since i haven't played this game before and 95% of them are just "yea you gotta have been playing nonstop since release and have every p2w skin or you will be forced to cosplay a mining sim rather than playing rust"

it seems pretty bad to me considering its price and the fact its a 556 weapon so anything short of 955s are gonna be useless anywhere except tvs and i just don't see what makes it so common to see in forbidden

the game is still quite far from being released (s) but with the current leadership and developers i cant see this game being released properly for at least another year and i honestly cant tell if the community is gonna stay that long

when i say dying i don't mean 0 players since there will always be a dedicated player base who glaze or love the game no matter its flaws i just mean that there wont be enough players in each server to get into games in a decent time frame (not needing to wait an entire raids length just to get into the next raid)

current community sentiment is so heavily against the developers due to the sheer amount of misinformed choices they've made and the amount of broken promises that

personally, i cant see them being able to keep up this trend of hyping up a new thing, delaying it for no reason then having it being disappointing anyway

this is a genuine question to yall who love and those who hate, will tabor make it to a full polished release before the community gives up on them?

im only really a loot thief in the scenario of if i get a guy low then a teammate takes the last shot or clear an area as a team and then they try take both the key room and the safe but it seems like theres quite a few situations where its reasonable and idk where to draw the line

i just caught up and i still dont know why they are so significant to be passed down to someone else i think i missed something

using the premade teams option to get into full teams and these people have mics, seem to know the game, have decent aim and bring in good enough gear they just dont listen at all or think pinging enemies should be done for every scav, rock, tree in the map and not real players.

it doesnt matter if its text chat or voice chat (if its important and i can ill do both) they just actively ignore what i said.

every other game its "blue theres a sniper northwest dont peek" then they decide to sprint towards them as if its the fucking matrix or ill say "im being pushed by a guy can anyone help" and then they choose to become weeping angels and wont take a singular step until i either die or kill then in which case they all sprint around the body expecting me to give them loot like this is a genuine transcript of one of these fuckers today "he's t6 with 4 guns you cant keep them all it isnt fair" as if im not already cramming every morsel of value into my bag so those useless bastards dont get anything

ive been playing for awhile but all of my forbidden games have been on airport and tv station since thats where the most loot is concentrated and im wondering which other maps are good for loot and pvp on forb

supply and demand makes sense but why are some attachments so fucking expensive when its like +1 vertical recoil are the kitted players stupid or are they doing it to have higher equipment value?

AR precision stock costing 36k vs an AR modern stock costing 2k. the difference is 3 vertical recoil, 3 horizontal recoil and 8 ergo like 3 recoil isnt worth that much the 556 guns dont even have bad recoil why is this in such high demand

3x holo, who tf is buying that, it has horrible ads visibility, costs 100k and just has bad reticle, other attachments like 1x/6x scope for 100k when theres another 1x/6x for 60k make me question the game so much

is there a difference in the safe loot chances and possible items between the safes as it seems like the loud safes are usually awful with a decent chance of red but key safes are usually decent with lower chances for reds and i wanna know if that's true or just anecdotal

i hate how everyone is just level 30, it wouldnt be hard to add prestiges or increase the level cap by a large amount even if there isnt rewards being able to tell the difference between a level 30 with 100 hours like me or a level 30 with 4000 hours would be nice

dying to someone because you couldn't see what gear they had is so annoying (not the best example but this one was gotten today to show its still an issue) clip shows clear as day that the guy had a t4 helmet but in the death screen it tells me that he actually had a t6 helmet
