I have an alpha container and I have a question, if a load into a raid and someone kills me while a hold it, do I loose it?
I was wondering what ammo I should make AP with, I was personally thinking slugs so I could hit hard at long range. But give me some suggestions!
I used to play now and then back in the golden era and quite enjoyed it but stopped playing because of the lack of people to play with. I'm thinking about picking it up again and was wondering if there is any chill players around my age (15) that are looking to mess around and have fun and help me learn the game again
Any heads up on items I will need or guns, gear that is required, thanks
how does everyone get so rich?
i see people with like a collector and a few spears and call themselves poor
they treat it like it’s easy nowadays and i rlly cant get loot anymore because i just dont have the gear
i don’t get the strategy for starting from zero except impacts (which works really well for me) but i die before i can even reach the kitteds
ppl just say to go in naked and kill kitteds but thats just impossible like they kill me with fal or ak alpha ap before i can get 2 shots out of my akm
if you say skill issue please don’t reply i want actual help
To my knowledge, the Skull spawns on Missile Silo in the Narrows on top of some barrels. In (no exaggeration) 40+ raids, I've seen it zero times. I've found 4 purple keycards and fought Mickey Mouse 7 times while searching, but no Skull.
Is this thing spawning in a different location, or am I the world's least lucky guy right now?
Red Red go away, it's not a skin it's just red.
If you don’t like the game, leave. I’m so tired of going on here and seeing ”Oh this game sucks go to exfil“. Like seriously, these Exfil zone simps and the tabor haters are getting out of control. From what I’ve seen, Exvil zone has even more bugs than Tabor. Why are you still playing and still whining about how bad the game is, and then still logging on the next morning just to rant again. We all know the game has bugs, but one thing that not a single person thinks about is the workers themselves. Ppl are blaming scoot for everything, but these coders are also at fault. But seriously, it’s not like it’s easy; waht they do. They make dumb decisions sometimes, but they also make really good ones too! But all it seems like is a bunch of little kids just coming here to gripe and complain about small bugs. I’ve played this game for many years, and every single bug I encounter is easily fixable and only takes like 10 seconds. Also, it’s a vr game. It’s not like how consoles and PC games work. Vr is still very new, so you’d gotta take into account that they’re working in a very new area.
If you don’t like the game, leave. No one is forcing you to play the game, or post about how bad or “how much better exfil is“
What’s your take on which one is better. Especially for me a person looking for a nice experience with little hours on both
Hey everyone, Quiet here.
Most of the community currently operates on the knowledge that there are roughly 10 total figure spawn locations on Mall. Over my recent loot system stress test runs, I’ve mapped out a total of 26 distinct figure spawns across the map.
Based on tracking these specific locations, I have a working theory regarding the map's exact loot pool caps per instance, which I'm calling the Rule of 5 ( I've posted this theory before). Here is how the high-tier loot distribution breaks down based on my findings so far:
* **Pristine Figures (Cap of 5 each):** Confirmed by finding 5 Pristine Tatras and 3 Pristine Nikolais so far.
* **Damaged Figures (Cap of 10 each):** Currently sitting at 9 found for both.
* ** Metasukiya's Knives. 5
* **Arty Gameboards:** 3 confirmed, actively hunting/testing locations for 4 and 5.
* **Keycards:** 5 Purple Cards and 5 Orange Cards.
*Note on the Orange Cards:* My master route tracks 4 of them. The 5th is intentionally omitted from standard routing because it spawns inside of red vault requiring a keycard that the average player will not have access to every raid.
To make sure this data benefits everyone immediately, I have updated all 26 verified locations directly to the live site on Tabormaps.com (the team has given me direct edit access to update item locations). You can cross-reference the live map right now.
Because text bullet points don't accurately convey exact sightlines, verticality, or safe approach vectors on Mall, I put together a comprehensive layout guide video showing every single one of these 26 locations, keycards, streamer items, the routing, and the exact spawn geometry.
If you want to maximize your Mall runs or finish your collections before the next wipe, you can check out the full visual guide here:

Let me know if you guys have spotted a 4th or 5th Nikolai or Arty board in spots not covered on the interactive map yet. Good luck out there. And...
Stay Quiet. Extract Clean.
This is a genuine question, I haven’t seen one good post about tabor since new island came out. The part I’m confused about is why is Scott deliberately going in a direction where the game is bound to die.
I’m not saying the game is good or bad these are just genuine question that I would like to get some feedback about
Edit: I’m now seeing I should’ve put the discussion flair on
(Please dont comment if your only going to complain and do nothing else)
Personnally I'll be buying Legacy tabor as soon as it comes out. Change comes yeah but ima be honest current tabor is not it (especially with the new island and hitreg) and im kind of glad Legacy tabor is coming out, my only complaint about legacy tabor is that bugs unless game breaking that won't allow you to connect or get into raid won't be fixed. (Such as the traders glitch MrFlimsy showed a few wipes back)
Hey everyone,
I wanted to make a post to thank ExpertFoundation3297 and all the moderators who have handled this community for so long.
You may or may not have noticed that several employees of Combat Waffle Studios have joined this subreddit. We want to be part of the conversation here and learn from you. You've been a highly active and vocal part of our player base, and one we haven't been interacting with much.
We'll continue focusing most of our efforts on our main platforms so we don't spread ourselves too thin, but we'll be keeping an eye on this subreddit to make sure we're hearing you. That doesn't mean we want to mute you or shut down constructive criticism, quite the opposite. We need these conversations to know where to focus next. That said, we may step in if a post crosses the line from criticism into pure aggression toward our staff, the studio, or the game.
To be clear, we're all for honest conversation about what we can improve. We have daily interactions with our community around the areas where we've fallen short or could do better. That's the essence of a real conversation, and of a game that keeps growing.
So please, keep telling us where the pain points are. Keep telling us what you love about the game. Help us shape the future of Ghosts of Tabor.
I'm genuinely excited to get to know you all and figure out, together, how we make GoT the best GoT you've ever played.

Pretty please w a cherry on top
I have some VR shooter experience with games like Pavlov etc. so figured this game would be right up my alley. I thought whatever I'll just jump right into PvP. Well I encountered a serious skill issue lol.
I was happy to see I had some money and guns already to get a head start. So I made myself a loadout and headed out to the mall. However, I keep getting smoked in the raids and ran out of backpacks (seems I can't buy any others) so I can't even loot if I wanted to.
So I'm kinda stuck in this loop of buying more guns/ammo/armour, trying my luck in a raid, spawning into mall with like 5 angry AI around me. Die. And repeat. I can't even get a damn red dot sight or anything so I'm using iron sights which is really challenging for me
Also... I haven't had to eat or drink yet. Is that because I keep dying? What's the point of bringing food with you if a raid is only 30 mins?.
I'm not sure I'm playing the right way. At this rate I'll be out of money in 5-6 more failed raids. Should I do more training? Did I rush too quickly in PvP? I can barely make it to hearing the buzzer signifying extraction zone is open.
I'm thinking of resetting my profile to get my starting guns, cash, and backpacks back and trying to be more careful this time.
Anyways, despite my getting my ass handed to me, there's something oddly satisfying about this gameplay loop. I can see myself getting hooked once I can actually put up a fight.
Would welcome any tips!
Let’s be honest, the majority of this sub fucking suck at tabor. That’s why you see so many posts complaining about the state of the game. Its how they cope. Well Im gonna teach you how to not have a timmy mindset and hopefully it’ll help you get better at the game. If you died by being outplayed refer to paragraph 1. If you died to a bug, refer to paragraph 2
You think of this game as a fps. The “BOA’s” or pros think of this game as one big game of chess with multiple people. Every move has a consequence so you find the ones with the most benefits. When they die they don’t go straight to reddit to complain about how a gun is unfair. They learn from the experience. If you die you must think of what you could have did right. Then you apply that the next time you’re in the situation again. Accept you were outplayed and grow from the experience. This isn’t pavlov or (insert fps vr game). The person with better aim doesn’t win the smarter person does.
Now I understand dying to a glitch is frustrating because essentially it isn’t your fault. But it’s a game there’s gonna be bugs. Sure, maybe tabor has alot but this isn’t fortnite. Tabor doesn’t have a giga company watching over it 24/7. You’re just gonna have to accept the loss, because if you bring that anger over to the next game it can mess up how you play, and then you’ll keep dying, and then you’ll go on reddit to complain about how the game is riddled with bugs when that simply isn’t the truth. Just like the first paragraph use the experience as a lesson. Don’t do what you did to avoid the bug. Its that easy.
Stay cool, and stay chads taborites.😘
Have you ever wondered why there’s so many DLC’s and no content updates? It’s because Scott Albright has a crippling Banana Addiction. Scott uses the DLC to fund his banana loving escapades instead of the game. While you are buying dlc and getting slammed by full kits, Scott sits in his office while munching on delicious and delectable potassium rods. So yeah, the reason we aren’t getting updates is because Scott likes bananas… a little TOO much.
