An Introduction to Alakazar

(I can't draw and I don't feel like taking any images from Google so I'll try my best for the descriptions. Any questions, please ask them. I also recognize this following bit should go into a world building sub reddit more than here, HOWEVER I feel it is quite important to get the setting of my world out of the way first before I do any characters for power scaling and the such.)

On a World known as Alakazar, or otherwise known as The Godhome, there reigned Gods, Deity's, mighty lords and kings, titans of immeasurable power, creatures of infinite wonder, as well as just normal people just trying to survive within this massive world, as Alakazar is roughly 10 times the size of our solar system's sun, and it proved to be right on top of a Multiversal Nexus*, and creatures and beings from other realities would often get placed here in this world and would have to adapt or get stronger, or else they would die.*

For this world was not one for the weak. Even the "Normal" peasants and farmers of this world were much stronger than even the best Olympic athletes of our own world. Alakazar had forced the humans, elf's, and dwarfs of this world to change to better fit this world, where the strong were nessiary to move your species forward. However, even so, the minds of one species in specific: Humans*, allowed them to create technological marvels on this fantastic world, and after many eons, there are great cities where many species live. However, the magic of this world ensures that the resources and magical wonder of this plant were not squandered, or at the least, wasted. A mysterious power would always regenerate enough of the world's natural sources and creatures to effectively give an boundless amount of resources for the materials and flora/fauna of the planet. Some say that the planet is getting bigger and new biomes and even islands would appear, but most say this is false...*

As for the gods? Many of the such, as well as powerful creatures, would find themselves transported here and would try to make it. While some saw this world was a wonderful challenge, having been the strongest in their own worlds, and THRIVED here, others would have been wiped out or slain, having not been quite suited for this realm. Within the planet of Alakazar there was Hell deep underground where demons and Lords of Hell pawn, Heaven up in the sky where the Angels, Deity's, and Godkings Roam and watch over the surface world with their own interests in mind...

And deep in space, alien travelers would find this world and soon call it home, as well as other new flora and fauna cast aside from their home worlds or simply brought here by those alien races. And even further to the cosmos, reigned God Devourers and Eldritch Abominations always seeming new planets to add to their hoards or to consume. However, the most powerful of these deep, vast, and unfathomable beasts is The Nightmare King*,* Evil Incarnate, Father of Darkness and The Bane of Light. Entire universes would be easily swept away into nothing but black void. However, even with the great power of The Nightmare King, these creatures and beings of pure evil could never get past the ones who protect the border of their own wide Multiverse. These beings are called The Gatewatchers and they truly operate on a scale that is beyond their own Multiverse, touching on the edges of ALL IN EXISTENCE, however their "physical" selfs reside in the same Multiverse that Alakazar rest on. They know the beings of blackness, dark, and evil would stop at nothing if they managed to consume Alakazar and with doing so, finding the Multiversal Nexus that would allow them to wage their endless war against creation onto other worlds, most undoubtedly would be helpless to do much but die and get consumed to fuel these Abominations Of Creation*. The greatest of the* Gatewatchers is The Dawn Sovereign, Lightwatcher, First Guardian, The One Beyond Time And Reality. This absolute being was the first to exist within it's Multiverse and has the highest possible authority over reality, existence, and time/space/matter. The Nightmare King was made when this being fell asleep and it's one true nightmare of abosulute darkness to it's worlds and universes of creation and life came into being.

The Gatewatchers also do not tolerate those who cross into this plane of existence by making another Multiversal Nexus or a similar break in reality as it's possible that The Nightmare King could use such a break to spread into infinite worlds and expand beyond control...

Gwen Stacy from MARVEL in RWBY!

(This was suggested by u/XadhoomXado and I also have no idea what flair to put for this, so the Characters Flair is what I'll use for now if that is fine.)

Quick Note: Okay, so I need to clarify real quick that these are simply ideas based off some character suggestions for people are not meant to be taken COMPLETELY seriously. But in any case, I'll go ahead and say that I'd heavily appreciate any more suggestions, or comments about this particular idea in general or other characters y'all want to see get Fix Swapped. I'm also not good at art so the images used are NOT mine and always will go to their respective creators/owners by default. Notes in Italic are the things added here in reddit, I do mostly do these ideas in a sperate Google document to make and document them.

Full Name: Gwendolyn "Gwen" Stacy

Alias: Spider-Woman / Ghost Spider (I'm not sure the whole alias thing will actually apply for RWBY, somebody me know about that...)

Age: 17 (Noting that this is during the start of the show or at latest during the middle of the Beacon Arc)

Race: Human

Kingdom: Atlas-born, later associated with Vale

Academy: Beacon Academy

Team: TBD (Let me know if y'all want to see a team of web singers or heros or the such for a RWBY fic-swap) Role: Huntress-in-training

Weapon: Webslinger

Semblance: Spider-Sense

Aura Color: Pale Magenta/Pink

Fighting Style: Acrobatics + close-quarters combat + mobility

The Basic Concept:

Gwen is a remarkably talented Huntress-in-training who possesses an unusual Semblance that gives her an almost supernatural awareness of her surroundings.

With her Semblance, Gwen can sense incoming attacks, movement outside her vision, changes in air pressure, hostile intent, Grimm approaching from concealment, structural weaknesses, and objects moving at high speed

Combined with her absurd physical agility, Gwen can seemingly dodge attacks before they happen. That's where the "Spider-Woman" reputation comes from. (noting that this is meaning Spider-Woman is an nickname she's earned, witch should be fine.)

But her Semblance isn't actually the source of all her abilities. Gwen is simply freakishly athletic. Her Aura training has allowed her to develop strength, speed, balance, reflexes, and endurance far beyond an ordinary human. She can leap several meters, cling to surfaces through specialized equipment, and perform acrobatics that would be completely impractical for most Huntsmen.

Her Weapon- The Webslinger

Instead of Gwen literally having organic spider webs as the nickname "Spider-Woman" suggests, she actually has a pair of wrist-mounted Dust weapons. The Webslingers are compact mechanical devices built into her gloves that fire specialized lines containing different Dust compounds. (Her gloves also are what allows her to cling onto surfaces like a spider.)

The Standard Web is a durable synthetic cable used for swinging, restraining enemies, pulling objects, disarming opponents, rapid movements, and creating tripwires.

Hard Light Webs uses Hard-Light Dust and with these stronger reinforced webs, Gwen can create temporary solid webbing capable of catching falling people, blocking attacks, or forming platforms.

Ice Webs contain Ice Dust that instantly freezes whatever the web strikes. The freezing effect the dust applies tends to favor doing the effect by linking together the webs with the spreading frost. This is very efficient for immobilizing Grimm since they are more effected then humans or faunus are.

Fire Webs contain Fire Dust produces an explosive burst when the web connects with other webs or onto a ignitable surface. Gwen uses it sparingly because she doesn't particularly enjoy setting everything on fire.

Gravity Webs are one of Gwen's favorite webs to use, as the web temporarily alters the target's weight, allowing Gwen to slam enormous Grimm around despite being considerably smaller than them.

Semblance- Spider Sense

Gwen's Semblance isn't technically precognition. Her brain simply processes incoming information at an absurd rate. When danger approaches, her semblance reacts before her conscious mind understands what is happening. She experiences this as a strange sensation she calls:

**"**The Tingle" (No that's not a note...this is though!)

The more dangerous the attack, the stronger the sensation. A Grimm charging at her from behind?Tingle.

A sniper aiming at her from half a kilometer away Tingle.

A ceiling about to collapse?

Tingle.

Someone about to betray her?

Potentially... Tingle.

And that last one is where things get a little complicated, because Gwen's Semblance doesn't perfectly distinguish physical danger from perceived danger. Fear, paranoia, uncertainty, and emotional stress can all interfere with it.

Meaning Gwen can sometimes get a warning without understanding why.

Her Costume

Her Huntress Costume would largely remain the same as her canon hero costume, though it could perhaps look a little different to better fit the setting The primary colors remain the same, these being white, black, and magenta.

Her combat suit would consist of the following: A white hood, a black bodysuit, white torso and arms, magenta interior hood, magenta accents, armored gloves, reinforced ballet-style combat shoes, her mechanical webslingers, and lightweight Aura-Conductive armor inside the suit at vital parts of her body.

The ballet shoes are actually intentional. Gwen learned ballet when she was younger, and that training became the foundation of her fighting style. After all, she doesn't fight like a traditional Huntsman.

Fighting Style

This Gwen would be an absolute nightmare to fight, for a Grimm or a human/faunus She's not necessarily the strongest Huntress. She's not necessarily the fastest. She's not the most powerful.

She's just ridiculously difficult to hit.

Her fighting style combines: Ballet + gymnastics + martial arts + aerial combat + her Webslingers.

For example, she'll run toward an opponent, jump over them, attach a web to a wall, swing around them, kick them in the back, flip into the air, land feet first, and then immediately fire another web.

And because of Spider-Sense, trying to surprise her is extraordinarily difficult. Her preferred strategy is: Don't fight the enemy head-on. Instead, she prefers to identify the biggest threat, immobilize it, sperate the rest of the enemies, attack from multiple angles, keep moving, and never let herself become surrounded.

Personality

(This is definitely a part that Gwen keeps just about entirely, there is no reason to actually make any changes to her.)

Gwen is sarcastic, intelligent, independent, compassionate, musically talented, stubborn, somewhat socially awkward, fiercely protective, and prone to keeping her emotions bottled up.

She's also considerably more mature than she initially appears. She'll crack jokes during combat because if she's joking, she's not panicking. She'll be the kind of person who is surrounded by Grimm and will say

"Okay. That's...a lot of teeth."

And then proceed to keep fighting while cracking those jokes, and she'll often make her remarks at the expense of her opponent. Gwen has a serious flaw though.

She Blames Herself

If someone gets hurt around her, Gwen immediately starts wondering: "What Did I Miss?" And her Semblance ends up making this even worse, because it's meant to sense danger. She's constantly asking herself if she could have sensed something quick enough to prevent this, or if she should have moved faster.

Whenever she could have saved someone.

And this could very well end up becoming one of her main character arcs in RWBY.

Her Father- George Stacy

I will be keeping Gwen's Father George Stacy as well, giving him a Fic-Swap RWBY version as well, since he is quite integral to Gwen's backstory and to her life. However, instead of being a New York police captain, he'd be a Vale police officer or security commander.

He's incredibly proud of Gwen. He's also terrified of what she's doing. Because from his perspective, His daughter is a teenager who regularly throws herself at Grimm. Gwen, meanwhile, insists:

"Dad, I'm literally training to be a Huntress."

George: "That's exactly what I'm worried about."

There relationship would be a most definite key part of Gwen's story in the world of RWBY.

(Part of the reason why George is worried for Gwen's well being was because Gwen's mother was a huntress before she ended up dying on a mission when Gwen was young. Still he know helping people as a Huntress is Gwen's dream and won't actually do anything to stop it.)

Why She's Called Spider-Woman

Gwen initially doesn't want the name. One of her first public appearance's involves her rescuing civilians from a Grimm attack. Someone records the entire thing.

The footage shows a girl in a white hood swinging through the city on cables, crawling across buildings, kicking Grimm off rooftops, and disappearing into the night. (Yes, she was doing vigilante hero work before she actually applied to Beacon. Ozpin decided to just wave a hand at the whole vigilante business.)

The news needs a name.

Spider-Woman.

Gwen hates it. Everyone else loves it. Eventually she gives up arguing.

"Fine. Spider-Woman. Whatever."

Her relations with Team RWBY

(Considering that team RWBY are the main characters of the show, I figured I'd give some of Gwen's interactions with them and general relationships, at least within The Beacon Arc)

Ruby Rose: Instant friendship.

Ruby sees the Webslingers and immediately wants to know how they work. Gwen sees Crescent Rose and immediately wants to know how that works.

They could spend hours talking weapons. Ruby would also absolutely love Gwen's acrobatics.

Weiss Schnee: Initially, it's constant friction.

Weiss considers Gwen's fighting style reckless. Gwen considers Weiss excessively formal. Eventually, however, Weiss recognizes that Gwen's apparent recklessness is actually extremely calculated.

They become surprisingly effective partners.

Blake Belladonna: Probably Gwen's closest friend.

Both are quiet. Both have a tendency to disappear when things get difficult. Both have complicated relationships with their fathers.

Both carry guilt and both understand what it's like to hide behind a mask. They'd probably spend entire evenings reading together without actually talking.

Yang Xiao Long: Yang thinks Gwen is hilarious and Gwen thinks Yang is terrifying.

Yang: "You know, you really should smile more."

Gwen: "You punch people through walls."

Yang: "Exactly. And I'm happy."

Her Biggest Weakness

Gwen's greatest weakness isn't physical. It's overconfidence in her own ability to avoid danger. Spider-Sense makes her feel almost untouchable. But Aura doesn't make her invincible. Eventually she'll encounter something that her Semblance can't properly predict.

A Grimm whose attacks are too fast. An enemy who deliberately creates random movements. A villain who doesn't actually intend to hurt her. Or worse...

Someone who understands exactly how her Semblance works.

That forces Gwen to learn the most important lesson of her Huntress career: You don't have to dodge everything.

Sometimes you have to trust somebody else to protect you.

I'm a RWBY Fan and I've decided to make some RWBY-Fic Swap characters!

(Have a free Ruby image btw, didn't know what else to put here-)

Well, I'm a RWBY fan and I've recently finished the current 9 volumes and I've decided that I'll take some requests for making some RWBY-Fan Swap characters. What that means is I'm essentially taking characters from other works of fiction (Games, Movies, Books, TV Shows, Anime, Etc) and turning them into What-If RWBY characters (if they were in the RWBY universe)

But I need some suggestions to get my brain gears turning, I'll try to get this out by tomorrow if not the day after that. Anyway, I hope this post wasn't confusing but first some ground rules for suggestions:

1: Obviously no NSFW or NSFW adjacent characters, just don't.

2: Try to not suggest characters that are SUPER overpowered. I'm fine with making powerful characters up to a point, especially if said power is not exactly from the strength but more so ability based (Caine from TADC for example). If such a character is suggested, I'll end up obviously using a not so powerful version as the modern character variant (Goku for example, I'd likely make a VERY base variant for him...)

Anyway, that's all for now! Have a good night!

Finn McCool and The Gang arrive

Finn McCool and his gang were sleeping at the hotel room they had booked during their stay in the past of their world. However they would wake up and find they would be inside of a dense forest and surrounded by various plants and giant trees.

Megaphone Man: "Uh, guys? I don't think we're in the hotel anymore..." Confused Voice

Shotgun Bloke: "Yeah, no kidding Megaphone..." In a sarcastic tone

Finn McCool meanwhile was just looking around as he swung his bat to warm himself up for anything that might happen
