Has Apocalypse his eyes set on Rogue?

When I think back to the '92 X-Men I can't help but notice that Rogue was the only member of the X-Men that Apocalypse was actually interested in.

Rogue was originally going to be his first Horseman until she changed her mind (believing it was a cure). Apocalypse expressed to Mystique. "Like all people she is a fool. But she has great powers". In the next episode Apocalypse confronts Rogue and tells her "You had your chance to be the first of my creatures. The first to serve my will!

Later in season 3, episode 11, they have brief one-on-one fight and Apocalypse states:

"You have great power, yet you detest your existence. Serve me, and you will know oblivion's eternal bliss! "

Now in the 97 series Rogue has interacted with a young Apocalypse, and>!Gambit possessed by Apocalypse wanted to turn Rogue into his bride with that Celestial amulet. !<

Could the team behind the '97 series be trying to follow up on Apocalypse's plans for Rogue that was set up in the original series?

They ruined Darth Vader

Vader was such a fearsome, mysterious villain in the first movie... and then in the next movie he's revealed to be Luke's daddy?! And then unmasking him in the third one was another crime. He looks like Uncle Fester.

I'm done with Star Wars.

I can't believe a Hollywood screenwriter was paid to write this line

They blew up the Death Star... and then the Empire just built another one?! This completely undermines the struggle of the Rebellion and Luke's accomplishment in the first movie!
