I’m an English teacher in the UK, mostly looking for easygoing conversations with people who like talking about films, books, music, teaching, or just random life stuff.

I’m really into films and media, especially horror films, and I’m always happy to talk about anything from favourite films and weird little details in adverts to poetry like Paradise Lost, or whatever book/film has annoyed or obsessed me recently. I’ve also got a slightly precious vinyl record collection and a soft spot for dark, moody music.

Because of my job, I spend a lot of time thinking about stories, language, culture, and why people respond to things the way they do. That probably sounds more serious than it is. I’m just as happy talking nonsense as I am getting dragged into a philosophical rabbit hole.

I’m not really looking for anything intense or forced. Just a decent chat with someone curious, kind, and easy to talk to. It would be nice to find someone who enjoys messages that can go from stupid observations to surprisingly deep conversations without it feeling weird.
