The dedicated IR AC controller uses Matter over WiFi and is powered by a USB-C cable with built in temp/humidity sensors, whilst the IR blaster contains a rechargeable battery and is exposed to Matter via a ZemiSmart Matter bridge (M1, M1 Pro, M6).

Both come with magnetic bases allowing them to angled to your own preferences. The AC controller also comes with an LCD display that shows temperature and humidity levels.

As one could predict, the new light is Matter over WiFi, not Thread. It has two light sources, each with 28 individually controlled colour zones, in addition to warm and cool whites. Currently it’s selling for $79.99, or you can buy a 2-pack for $139.98.

Works with or without a neutral, uses Matter over Thread, has energy monitoring for the platforms that support it, and is currently on Amazon (US) for $39.

THIRDREALITY has announced the Smart Timer Light TL2, a plug-in smart home device that combines a digital clock, countdown timer, RGB night light, ambient light sensor, and 60GHz mmWave presence sensor into a single compact product. It uses Matter over WiFi, which for many will be a disappointment.

The dimmer uses Matter over WiFi. It can work with ordinary dimmable bulbs or LiFX smart lighting. It requires a neutral wire, and is compatible with 2/3 way setups. All buttons are programmable, with single, double, and long press actions.

The E40 offers facial recognition, keypad, and fingerprint sensor, as well as a built in doorbell. The E35 utilises palm vein recognition as well as a keypad, whilst the E32 offers a fingerprint reader and keypad. The E40 and E35 offer Matter over WiFi, with only the E32 offering Matter over Thread.

None have either UWB or Apple HomeKey.

The motor uses Matter over WiFi, but there’s also a model that uses Matter over Thread.

It can accommodate a maximum of 50kg with the motor offering 75~100rpm.

Dreame Technology has officially announced its new X60 Pro Series robot vacuums, alongside the official launch of the Cyber X stair-climbing robot, with the company positioning the range as its first complete ‘full-space cleaning solution’.

Whilst the press materials focus primarily on cleaning performance and mobility, accompanying imagery also confirms support for Matter and integration with Apple Home, implying the new lineup is designed to fit more seamlessly into modern smart home ecosystems.

The X60 Pro Series consists of three models – the X60 Pro Ultra Complete, X60 Pro Ultra Matrix, and X60 Pro Master – all of which share Dreame’s latest navigation, obstacle avoidance, and edge-cleaning technologies, whilst targeting different cleaning and installation requirements.

Aqara has expanded its smart lock ambitions in the UK with the launch of the new U500 series, a range of Matter-compatible locks designed for door types that are often unsupported by conventional retrofit smart locks. The lineup currently consists of the Smart Gate Lock U500, Smart Glass Door Lock U500, and Smart Rim Lock U500, covering installations for gates, glass doors, metal doors, iron doors, and traditional surface-mounted rim lock setups.

The speaker is priced at US$299, subwoofer - US$899, and Soundbar - US$1099. All are available in either black or ‘white smoke’, with the speaker also available in an additional colour - driftwood sand’ for an additional US$50.

The Vision Pro features facial recognition, palm
Vein recognition, a fingerprint reader, keypad, and NFC. It does not come with Apple HomeKey or UWB, but the sensor does mmWave to detect presence in order to activate the scanner. It’s also a Matter over WiFi lock.
