Finally joined the automatic club! My sister brought this over for me from Germany when she visited Mumbai. I'm absolutely loving the skeleton dial. It's rated for 5ATM which is great for daily peace of mind.

After wearing quartz watches for a while, switching to a mechanical piece feels like a big step up. I specifically love the skeleton dial on this model; seeing the movement and the jewels working behind the black dial ring is incredibly cool. The silver-tone case paired with the brown leather strap gives it a versatile look that I think works for both casual and dressier occasions.

Even though it’s a larger 48mm case, I think it sits well on my wrist. Since it’s my first automatic and a gift from my sister, it’s definitely going to be a permanent part of my collection. I’m curious to know for those of you who started with a Fossil or a skeleton watch, what did you eventually move to next in your collection? Any advice on keeping an automatic running smoothly would also be appreciated!
