New Chain or New Drivetrain
About a month ago I checked my chain and it showed no signs of wear. Well I really cranked up the volume the last couple weeks, did a couple centuries and some other long rides. Just checked it the other day and the chain is totally stretched with both the .5 and .75 falling right in. It caught me off guard since I thought it was good. Anyway, I reckon I'm going to need a whole new drivetrain now but if I could get by with just a chain I would really prefer to. What do you guys think about how this looks? Do I need new chainring, chain and cassette? Could I just get away with chain and cassette or just chain?

Road Tires for Hardtail
Hey ya'll. I'm looking at getting a couple sets of tires for my chisel hardtail. I'm finding that the bulk of my riding these days is long paved days and my poor xc tires are wearing quickly. I'm looking for recommendations for really durable semislick type tires in 29in, still probably like 2.2 or 2.3. I've been looking at mezcals and hookworms though I worry a little bit on clearance for the 2.5s I'm seeing. Let me know what your road tires are for your hardtail (and no I'm not getting a road bike right now - maybe in a couple years).
