Will this require medication?

Recently I had a Dexa scan and it confirmed I had Osteoporosis. Although it looks borderline to me and I'm wondering if I'm likely to be offered medication?

I would like to start medication because I'm 36 and my understanding is it'll only get worse as I get older. The high fracture risk for my lumbar spine is also concerning to me.

I've got a call with the doctor on Monday but I get too much anxiety to wait.

Feacal Calprotectin test 1292 ug/g

I'm freaking out I had a calprotectin test and it came back as 1292 where the normal reference range indicated was between 0-100.

I've had pain in my stomach or belly I don't know where to describe it is, on and off for years. Once it was so bad I went to A&E, they just did an ultrasound but didn't see anything and sent me on my way.

I'm scared I've got chrohns.

Those with Life & mg how accurate is the blood pressure readings?

I'm curious actually how accurate the blood pressure insights are compared to an actual blood pressure reading.

Has anyone compared day to day to see?

Thinking of getting a Whoop

Hey I've been thinking of getting a whoop but can't decide if it's the right fit for me and browsing this sub it seems like you all hate it lmao.

I was looking at getting the Peak subscription and can get it for about £209.

I have a bunch of chronic health conditions and recently been diagnosed with Osteoporosis at 36 and need to take my health more seriously.

I'm interested in the Whoop age metrics and the weight training as I've been told this will help strengthen my bones along with light impact cardio (jogging, tennis, dancing).

I currently have a Pixel watch 1 which is getting on a bit and I'm fed up charging it every night. The 15 day whoop battery life is definitely a plus. I did consider just getting an upgraded pixel watch but I'm a bit fed up with the fitbit/google health experience and want something different with better metric displays.

I've been considering either the Whoop or Oura ring.

TLDR:
Essentially would you recommend the whoop for someone who's a normie, not athletic or a gym goer but wants a better insight into their health?

36m feeling really depressed/anxious about my a recent dexa scan. T-score -3.3, Z-score -3.2.

So I decided to have a dexa body composition scan because I just started Mounjaro and wanted a definitive before and after. I expected to be told I was fat but not that I have the bones of a 51 year old.

I didn't book the bone specific scan as well because it was a lot of extra money, however I wish I had now.

The standard dexa scan came back that I have Osteoporosis.

My T-score is -3.3.

My Z-score is -3.2.

I've been feeling incredibly depressed about it. I've had a lot of health conditions already:

high cholesterol, fatty liver disease, chronic back pain with bulging disks, disk degeneration and spinal arthritis, pernicious anemia and finally hypothyroidism.

Now this on top of it all, I'm feeling quite overwhelmed. I've contacted my GP and have an appointment next week.

How screwed am I? Can this be reversed.

Panicking over my results

I (36, M) decided to do a health check up considering I'm getting older. I didn't really know what to expect. My mum has high cholesterol but she's 60+ and never really worried about what she eats.

The doctor who reported my results advised I make an appointment with my personal doctor about these results. I have done and they want me to repeat blood works again.

How worried should I be. My mum says these are really bad, worse than hers.

Cholesterol results for those who don't want to filter through the above data:

Apolipoprotein Al - 1.09 g/L

Apolipoprotein B - 1.69 g/L

APOB:APOA ratio - 1.6

LDL cholesterol - 5 mmol/L

Non-HDL Cholesterol - 6.1 mmol/L

HDL cholesterol - 1 mmol/L

Cholesterol - 7.1 mmol/L

Triglycerides - 2.4 mmol/L

Triglyceride/HDL ratio - 2.4

Total Cholesterol/HDL Ratio - 7.1
