As the title says, currently my PC takes around 5 minutes to fully render games when starting them up, as well as spikes of lag when too many things are going on the screen on medium graphics. A little research showed 8 cores is a more modern standard but aside from wanting to stick to AMD and getting a 8 core cpu I dont know much else, budget would ideally be less than 300$.
