Curious to hear about anyone's experience filming on Long Island, specifically on the East End/ in the Hamptons. I've heard anecdotally that film permits are harder to obtain in those areas because of the exclusivity of those wealthier communities, but I haven't heard any first hand stories about this.
Has anyone ever encountered the cast or the film crew in the Hamptons? I'm curious to know more about how the community there feels about Summer House influencer types disrupting their tranquil, expensive getaway.
I've seen other comments about how only certain kinds of restaurants allow filming, and how the real Hamptons-y establishments would never allow that sort of disturbance to affect their high paying guests. Would love to know how actual Hamptons-goers, residents, and businesses feel about this.
