Hi! I'm making the Syd Tie top (sleeveless version). I would like to put the ties in the back and keep the front as one panel. Is it as easy as adding seam allowance for the back and removing from the front? The pattern pieces come with seam allowance included. I hope its okay I'm screenshotting parts of the pattern.

I'm basically trying to achieve this kind of back.
