Do you guys have any tips for making a knife guard? I’m making one for my future wife to cut our wedding cake with but for some reason I can’t seem to drill the holes for the tang properly. The attached image is the bottom side, the top is centred properly. How do you guys do it with simple hand tools? That’s all I’ve got right now. Thanks.
Edit: the tang is very thin, approximately 4mm (~5/32”)

My mesh is a DISASTER, I tried limited dissolve to simplify the mesh but it left it a mess. How can I fix this?
I am wanting to print this miniature I made but I'm having trouble getting rid of the pixilation. I edited it in Blender and used the Shade Smooth option for the eyes which worked in Blender but disappeared in the Orca slicer. Is there any way to change this?
