Hey yalls

I work near city centre. Work starts early (7:45am) hence im required to walk around city centre/ near the infirmary area pretty early in the morning to get there on time.

Idk why im feeling a bit anxious about this. Ive walked once earlyish (7am) and there was almost nobody on the streets. Felt very uncomfortable, nothing happened (yay!) but i felt like if there was an aggressive cr@ckhead i would definitely have been attacked.

How generally safe is it in the early early mornings?

I qualify for my ILR 17th July 2026. However unfortunately becoming redundant on 7th August 2026. I understand i can apply 28days prior to qualification date.

Will this cause an issue with the employment letter of ‘foreseeable future’?

I saw a very similar post and also one success story where it didnt cause. But i wanna hear the failure stories where it actually didnt work out
I feel like the success stories may have been purely luck, how does it work legally and am i screwed lol..
