Is there any functional photo frames out there that are ovals?? I really like the idea of oval photo frames for my sims’s walls, especially with my antique builds. I just haven’t had any luck with finding some.
Hi! I am currently working on filling my New Crest world, and I made an old man character to live in a house on the corner. While I'm building or creating a sim, I always make up lore in my head. This man is named Elliot, and he was a sailor who married his high school sweet heart Amie. They had two kids, a daughter named Emily and a son named John.
John got kidnapped as a child, and because of that his room remains untouched in the house. In my head, this put strain on the family and Emily moved out the second she could and now lives in the city as a writer. Amie and Elliot grew old together despite everything, but when Amie passed away Elliot became very bitter and alone. His house remains a time capsule of all the memories.
I ended up creating the family, and aged them up as I was taking pictures for the walls. I've never put this much effort into a build that I won't really play in.
I like to think that Elliot will connect with the child of the couple next door (which is a whole other thing), as a way to reconnect with his missing child. The way that family is set up, the child is overlooked by his parents so I thought it'd be sweet, like a Up situation.
