Celebrating her dog-cousin’s adoption birthday. Out of the 4 Chihuahua mixes forced to bear this indignity, she was the only one who cooperated.😆

45F: fine, medium-low density, medium porosity hair. I thought my hair was wavy, but I changed my routine in 2023 and the curls have been coming through. I tried a hair steamer recently, and it cut my styling time down by about 80%!

Routine: Wash with Biolage Volume Boost, condition with a mix of Kinky-Curly Knot Today & Apice Leave-In (Brazilian product.) Satin pillowcase always, and pineapple with silk scrunchy and sleep with a silk bonnet for Day 2 curls. (2-3x/week)

Pic 1 (quick routine) Styling: Squeeze Pantene Flexible Waves and Curls into soaking wet, finger combed hair. Remove excess water by squeezing with a microfiber towel. Air dry, break gel cast with Olaplex No. 7 Oil. Steam hair w/ConAir Infiniti Pro upside down for 45 seconds on each side. Done!

Pic 2 (former routine) Styling: Brush soaking wet hair using BounceCurl Define brush, squeeze in Lowell Gelatina Modeladora (Brazilian) to clump curls. Squeeze excess water with a microfiber towel. Layer Pantene Flexible Waves and Curls into hair after. Bellisima Diffon Supreme Diffuser dryer until hair is a little damp, then air dry. Break cast with Olaplex No. 7 Oil. Use fingers to apply Tresemme Bouncy Curls Mousse at roots for added volume. Mist with TGN Curl Refresher and scrunch again.
