Significance of Director designated roles

I work as a solution architect in my current org (Product). I am pondering the option of pivoting to strategic leadership roles ( not peoples management) and came across a “director” of planning and analytics role in Deloitte. After the initial discussion I feel this is a more manager/senior manager role than a director. Pay is also accordingly and is per with my current compensation.

This is a trend I am seeing now a days with many orgs where there is a title inflation (For ex. - VP is just a senior manager etc.)

So my question is, is a director role in Deloitte a more manager/Senior Manager role?
