Had a performance review last week and my manager said I handle pressure well. I nodded like yes, thank you, very professional of me.

That same morning I nearly lost my mind because my daughter could not find her left shoe and we had 4 minutes to leave. She was not looking for it. She was standing in the hallway telling me about a purple horse from her dream.

So yeah apparently work pressure is fine. Toddler pressure is different.

Nobody at work has ever cried because the spoon touched the wrong part of the yogurt. Nobody has asked me where their shoe is while actively not searching for the shoe.

I love lo but wow. I am finding out things about myself.
