How much food should I feed my 3.5-4 months old kitten?

Hi,

I’m not sure how much to feed my kitten. He loves food, and he recently recovered from an illness and now he’s back to his normal energetic self. I’m currently giving him only wet food and about ~2.5 oz of food 3 times a day (1/2 of a 5.1 oz). He’s always begging for food. I can’t tell if he just likes food or if he’s hungry. We had an emergency where he got every single checkup including fecal testing. This child is very healthy. I feel bad when he’s asking for food, and it feels like I’m not feeding him enough.
