Hi everyone! Obligatory long time lurker, first time posting on a book thread disclaimer. So, I was a huge fan (not the creepy type) of Neil Gaiman since Sandman was still being published monthly. I think I've actually read all of his fiction. I just can't seem to get into his stuff any more after his scandal (not making any judgements one way or the other about art vs. artist and whether or not people choose to continue enjoying an artist after something controversial).

But I really, really need a new author of that caliber. My fave authors are people like Gaiman, Orson Scott Card, Jacqueline Carey, and the like. Please help!

So on Friday a threat to the high school was found in the boys bathroom for the classroom area where I was subbing. The threat was made for this Tuesday. I was scheduled to sub Monday and Tuesday, but my husband and I talked about it and decided I would cancel, which I did. What would you have done?
