Hello! Im in the process of figuring out a good processing run for my histo lab im building up. It felt like these tissues were processed well before embedding. And when i took them off my ice they looked nice and smooth. The next day i pull them out and they have these bumps on them. I also dont have a microtome to test how they cut.
A couple factors that might be important. I dont have a cooling block unit at embedding yet. I used a literal block of ice. Could it be water?
And second my boss pit them into a box and into an ambient fridge. To me it feels humid. Could these cause it?
