Just some ghoulfriends I made for a friend of mine!

These are the first figures I've ever made, and while they're really rough compared to everything else I've seen here, I'm happy how they came out! Made them for a buddy after she saw how expensive a bigger ghost figure was at work so I decided to try my hand at making some of my own! Definitely going to be practicing and trying to get better at this, but I was really proud of that hat.

(I promise I don't actually have onion dip on my printer, it's a recycled container full of vase filler I forgot to move.)

I made meat charms! Now to make more!

I think I'll make at least one necklace, maybe a bracelet. What other things could I make with meat??

Suggestions on how to make dishes "swappable" in a metal pan?

My friend has a daughter with a dollhouse. I grabbed a pre made metal pan earlier today - what's the best way to mold dishes to fit into it. but you to be able to be swapped?

Mac and cheese is first on the list, but I'd love to be able to have multiple dishes (e.g. lasagna, spaghetti, turkey, etc) that she could swap out into the metal pan.

Weird little medieval guy

A little guy I made based on the last picture. Made with Sculpey and Cosclay, then painted using oils and acrylics

My first show & tell...

Made with Sculpey and sealed with UV resin. The skull had an acrylic wash before sealing to give it a dirtier, aged look. The flowers have chrome paint in the centers, but it's hard to see. These will be pendants.

Lessons learned... with the wreath, I should have attached hardware before baking. When I baked it, I had something different in mind for how it would be used, so didn't do the hardware. It was difficult to wrap the eyelet post around the top of the wreath after baking and the flowers stick out more than I would like. With the skull and hat, if I do a similar charm, next time I would bake the skull first before creating the hat so that I could get a better fit. These were made on different days and meant for a different plan... but when I held them together, the combo was too cute to resist putting together permanently.

Overall I'm pretty happy with them. I find jump rings very annoying to set up, though. It's almost impossible for me to get them perfectly lined up and closed. I might try making my own hardware from wire that won't require a jump ring.... does anyone else do that?

I made a Metagross for my sculpted pokemon team!

Metagross has such a cool biomechanical look, and was so OP in ruby/sapphire/emerald and is a perfect addition to any team; his body though is a bit tricky to make.

Basically I had to make him in two parts, the disc body first, then drilling the 4 appendage holes into the baked rigid body with a dremel, and finally sculpting the legs and attaching them by supergluing them into the appendage holes. Made with polymer clay, armature wire and aluminum foil.

Got to try out my new photo setup as well, I hope you guys like it! I got some suggestions for which pokemon to make next but I am always entertaining ideas!

Addicted to making earrings

Guys I am addicted!!

I bought some polymer clay like 2 weeks ago and I can't stop making earrings 😂

Far from perfect but I am very proud and happy with how they all turned out 😊

Any tips on how to get the surface more smooth are very appreciated :)

Edit: smooth as in no fingerprints on it or smudges

Blueberry Pancakes with butter and syrup.

I need to get a better blend on the syrup but it’s not bad for a first try.

My First Polymer Sculptures! Ocean Themed 🌊

I've made a few small things with air dry clay but I hated the feeling of the dried clay on my hands.

I used Sculpey Souffle for these and used soft pastels for the colors which didn't change in the oven like I was afraid they would.

I'm actually pretty happy with how these turned out! I've really got the itch to try Cosclay. Does anyone know how well it does for smaller figures like these or about hand sized? Or is there another brand that works better for that?

My first clay creations! Advice and feedback appreciated

I used glossy mod podge to try to glaze them but they’re very sticky still. I read that it can take 4 weeks for them to fully cure but some people said it’ll still be sticky even after the 4 weeks.
Any recommendations for shiny glazes that don’t dry sticky? And also don’t require a UV light

My Current Collection

All of the charms I have created in all their glory, which sea creature/whimsical charm should I do next? Any ideas are greatly appreciated, I think I have fried my brain trying to think of ideas. 🤣🦀🐞🤡🐙

One of my first creations (made with cheap plasticine)

I made this back in 2021 and it was I believe 5 months into sculpting, it was vent art but I was very satisfied with it so I took a pic lol

Orange necklace and bracelet for my food historian mom

I used polymer clay (mixed in translucent for the insides of the oranges), mica powder for the white membrane bits, varnish, and... our chinchillas' brush to texture the outside (thoroughly cleaned, of course!). I had never strung beads on wire before, so that was fun. Shoutout to pliers.

My mom loves food-themed jewelry for public events lectures, and TV appearances, so I had a high bar to clear in terms of quality. I'm pretty proud tbh!

Next, I wanted to try peaches. I want to capture the fuzz of the peach and the starburst around the pit, in particular. I also have a blueberry project on the docket. Will be more minimal and elegant. Any other ideas?

the strawberry lemon bears

I’ve been having wrist pains so I was out of clay making for a bit, but I felt better enough to test out some ideas! I really love these but I’m struggling to make it read as strawberry AND lemon… I think I need to try a lemon hat instead 🍓🍋
