I saw a lot of posts about ranked/pvp or insanely strong AI heroes here, so I just want to appreciate the campaign here.

I’ve played 4 maps and like the - related to other HOMM games - innovative approach of the branching storyline, the sidequests and the somewhat comedic dialogues that kept me way too long playing last night (just one more turn). Didn’t have that feeling since HOMM3 as a kid. It too does a good job introducing the factions and mechanics.

I also love the choice of the starting faction and starting hero - he gave me nostalgia.
