How would I go about making this?

This object will be made from 18ga mild steel. Now the flat face with the holes, is about 7" x 7". The vertical walls are about 15mm tall, then the top border peice is about 24mm wide.

Am I best to cut seperate peices (cnc or water jet) and just tack welds until its all one piece, such as one might do with autobody? Or should I bend these from a larger panel with like a bead roller?

The flat face needs to stay flat, no warpage ideally.

I have a decent mig welder, I can glue metal together but I am no metalworker.

Thanks

Just got a neptune 4 max, set up and done the first bed leveling procedure last night as outlined in the unboxing youtube video. Didn't have time to do a print yet, thats next.

First off, I did not fully appreciate the size of this unit until it was setup on my bench. It fits, but beside my ender unit, this this is an absolute beast of a printer. I am excited to print some dress up helmets for the kids though!

Second, are there further procedures or even printing specific parts for this machine to assist with longevity or ease of use?

Any ideas to make this printer more reliable or fun I am all ears!

Thanks!
