
Submitted a case to NCAT, now repairs are classed as urgent after almost 4 years of no maintenance
We have had nothing but trouble with our current rental. It doesn't meet rental standards and has issues with moisture and very bad mould. We are constantly promised repairs, the owner gets quotes and then never follows through with maintenance. We keep getting empty promises and I'm sick of it. Finally opened an NCAT case and an electrician called to say he was notified of an urgent repair. We were also given notice for an inspection in one week 😬 we are a bit worried of retaliation and being kicked out of here as we have nowhere to go but fair trading has done nothing and nothing else seems to help so hopefully NCAT gets it sorted.
