Please help us save Mila - urgent adoption or foster

Mila has been abandoned by an adopter that promised to take her last minute because they said their house renovations weren’t finished, and now we are leaving the country in 1 month and 3 weeks. We need a permanent home or at least a foster who could help us get her to us in Europe, but for that we need at least 4 months due to dog export regulation (we would cover her expenses). ADOPTION is a priority. Access to a small yard or garden/ outside space is important.

We would be eternally grateful for any help, she’s a rescue that has been with us for almost a year. Non-aggressive, skittish but calm. We cannot abandon her without a home or at least try to take her with us. I already messaged Pawssion project and PAWS, but I haven’t gotten a response.
Any help or advice appreciated!

Just to clarify, our goal is ADOPTION into a permanent home. The foster option is to avoid euthanasia.

Please see her page for more information:

Urgent adoption or foster - sweet Aspin Mila

We had an adopter who didn’t show up for her who promised for 4 months they’ll definitely take her, and now we are leaving the country in 1 month and 3 weeks. Could anyone foster/adopt this sweet girl?

I write this with a heavy heart but I took this dog off the street 8 months ago and did a huge chunk of work with her. I got her out of severe malnutrition, we had her paw tumor surgically removed and I worked with he anxiety so now she’s more confident and resilient. I love this dog. We thought we could find her a stable home, but it has been a battle. Someone just returned her to us because they lied about having conditions for her and she almost escaped (it was not about the dog at all). We are happy to have her back, but we are leaving the Philippines in 1 month and 3 weeks.

We have two options. If someone could adopt her permanently it would be amazing, but we understand that it might not be possible especially with such a short time. We are considering taking her with us to Europe, but she would need to get her papers in order and that might take more than 3 months. If a foster would be willing to keep
her while pet export company handles her paperwork, it would be enough.

She is ready for adoption, no major health issues and she’s pretty calm and non-aggressive. It’s a quiet dog, well-behaved and just likes walks and chicken. Skittish, but if she has her space, she causes zero trouble.

I made this post months ago, and someone told me they’d take her. Unfortunately now they bailed out on us and we have not much time.

If someone here could help any way, I would be eternally grateful. In case of a foster, we will cover her expenses and everything she would need.

I am an expat and I would appreciate any help from my fellows in the Philippines. Filipinos are welcomed to help too of course.

This country is not kind to dogs and I will do anything for her to get the best life. If someone is able to help
in any way, please contact me.

We are in ANGELES CITY, PAMPANGA.

We created a little page for her, please check it if you’d like to know more:

Sweet Aspin girl for adoption Pampanga/Manila areas

URGENT!

After 8 months of hard work and recovery from neglect and abuse situation, Mila is now ready for adoption. We are looking for a kind soul who is willing to commit to caring for Mila until the end of her life. She represents everything so uniquely filipino – resilience, cheerfulness through hardship, and a huge heart with lots of love to give.

Please see our page we created for her if you think she might be the one for you. We only have a month and 3 weeks before leaving the country, so we only accept serious candidates who can 100% commit. We have been let down by an adopter which created the short time window we currently have.

If adoption is not possible, we would appreciate a foster who could cooperate with pet export company to transport Mila to Europe where we live. For that she needs at least 3 months. We would cover all expenses for food and her needs.
