Just got my first shot of Skyrizi and am worried it won’t work because it says plaque psoriasis is what it’s used for but when I was diagnosed by another doctor 2 years ago they said I had guttate psoriasis. I’m not sure if the specifics of it really matter but am concerned
I am a 19 year old girl starting skyrizi soon after my 2nd horrible flare up in two years. Last time I took taltz but quit doing the shots after it cleared up and it didn’t come back until about 2 months ago. My doctor told me I have to do the maintenance shots when I start skyrizi. Since these are all new drugs I’m worried about the long term affects they could have, especially on my fertility. For instance, I do not take birth control because there’s too many people saying they struggle with infertility after taking it for an extended amount of time, plus I just don’t like anything that messes with my hormones like that. I really want to have children (not right now lol) so it is a big deal to me. Let me know your experiences with skyrizi and if you have had any side effects, thanks!
Does anyone else feel so sluggish and sad and tired during their luteal phase? Like to the point where all you feel like you have the capacity to do is lay in bed? I feel guilty for being so lazy but it just hits me so hard every month. I don’t think it should affect me this much, I feel bad for not being able to adapt and be productive anyways. Everyone I tell must think i’m being dramatic.
