Hi, I’m I’ve just moved job roles and my management team are so pedantic it’s driving me crazy and giving me anxiety. They nitpick words in assessments because of their preferences even though there’s 3 managers that all have different preferences. They tell us to work as a team and then get funny with us for asking eachother for help. They put pressure on us to do work fast but then hold onto work for ages before it gets approved. They pick on “issues” but don’t give solutions, even when asked. They are worse with a colleague of mine, borderline bullying. They are so particular and unnecessarily serious with people, it’s hard to explain, kind of passive aggressive. Oh also they all advise different things so the goal posts keep moving.

I enjoy the job and I don’t want to leave as I can’t be bothered with starting it all again but it’s Saturday and I’ve woken up with anxiety thinking what will it be next week.

Do I ignore it, react, tell them, leave ?

Hiya, I graduated from Sunderland uni 10 years ago and I’ve just walked through my halls and the town centre on Google Maps and it’s brought back some great memories.

Just wondering what the night life is like now? I used to go out Monday, Wednesday and Friday with my fave being Indie P on a Friday. Do they still do blue pints for £1? In fact, is it still open!? Is town still busy with students going out out?

My family that I know of are all White British and it’s not been possible to go far back enough to find someone in my ancestry that is another ethnicity. Obviously there will be but I don’t know how far back. I am asking because I get asked so frequently where I am from!? I get asked if I am Italian, Spanish, Greek and Arab all the time. I have been asked once if I am Polish which was a new one. Today I got asked if I am from the Middle East.

I have dark hair but apart from that I don’t know what makes me look like I might be from another country.

Does anybody else get something similar? What is it about your features do you think?
