A few years ago my hubby (70) reconnected with a high school classmate. I’ll call him Mike. He was actually in our wedding party 40 years ago but drifted apart. They get together and golf and Mike helps hubby on some wooded property we own. We’ve done out to dinner every couple weeks with he and his wife. A couple weeks ago Mike told hubby his wife is having heart issues. She had a procedure done we went out to dinner and while she seemed tired we had a good time. Two days later Mike calls hubby up crying that is wife is being transported to a teaching hospital about 3 hours away for heart failure. Hubby doesn’t know what to say. Shes still in hospital and Mike hasn’t called but texted updates. Hubby doesn’t know how to handle this situation as he’s afraid that if he speaks to Mike, Mike may break down again. I advised hubby to offer words of encouragement but guys don’t seem to know what to do in situations like this. Any advice?

I thought I’d stop there today to see their garden center but they didn’t have anything set up? I went on their fb page and it’s all about flower bouquets nothing about annuals, perennials. Did they stop having a garden center. I know they stopped their wholesale operation a few years now. And Mayflower Greenhouse posted on Facebook they will be closed in May.
