I’m registered for September. Is it crazy to apply with that score and also register for November?

My previous score, from April, is 161. I’m confident that I can get a higher score in September and I’d like to apply as early as possible. But I’m also currently on an upswing that is making me think I could further improve with a couple more months of study. Most of the schools that Im applying to have a section on the application which asks if you’re registered for a future exam and will place your application on hold until that new score is received. Would that be worth doing for what may end up just being a 1 or 2 point increase or is it better to get the application under review as early as possible? I know a lot of schools don’t actually start reviewing until later in the fall. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

At this point I have no idea what to expect for the September LSAT…

My undergrad GPA is absolutely horrible so I’m hoping for a 170, but my recent PTs are just all over the place. But I have a month to really lock in, so we’ll see!

The highest score I’ve ever gotten and I can’t even feel good about it

I just took a practice test but as soon as I started I recognized the LR section as one I’ve previously taken. Then I recognized the RC section. I’m happy my memory is improving but that also means this score tells me almost nothing about how I’m progressing. Guess I have to focus more on drilling!

People who don’t say anything when answering a Teams call

I’ve noticed that more and more often, people have stopped saying “hello?” when answering the phone. I realize that it’s probably because of a prevalence in scam calls that people don’t want to engage with, I’ve done this when waiting for an automated message to play before I hang up. But if someone is calling you through Teams, you know who’s calling you! I just called a coworker on Teams and when they picked up there was just dead air until I said their name to make sure they were there. I’m not asking for “Draper residence, Betty speaking”, just say something to let me know the call actually connected.
