We are selling our home in San Diego. We bought another house out of the area already but are planning to stay local for the next year or two and rent meanwhile.
The rental market is really tricky here. Our closing date is 6/3/24, we want to move in to the rental 6/1/24. Is it too risky to sign our rental agreement soon? Our buyers already did their inspections, the appraiser already came, their loan is only a small fraction of the home's worth, the buyers are from out of town. We are able to pay for two living places (the house we are selling + the house we bought, or rent + the house we bought), but it will be tricky to do three. The buyers' contingencies are all due to be released 5/18. We go to see my favorite rental tomorrow and I really want to put a deposit and hold it for two weeks (good price, location, size is ok).
Not sure if that is dumb or what people do in this situation.
I did my egg retrieval back in March, took April’s cycle off, just had the start of my May cycle and did my hysteroscopy during it.
My clinic does in office flex hysteroscopy, you take misoprostol the night before to soften cervix, and 800mg Advil + 500mg Tylenol an hour before the procedure. I think my misoprostol didn’t work at all and it was excruciating. I was crying and my legs were shaking really badly. It took us probably ten or fifteen minutes because my (very nice, very apologetic) doctor had such a hard time getting the scope up there. My nurse gave me a big hug too after, which honestly was so nice of her, I needed a hug. I ain’t never doing that again and in the future want to be asleep.
Very sadly for me, there were polyps. I was surprised because we’ve never seen one on an ultrasound. I was on 26 days of Estrace for scheduling (Estradiol), had AFC of 40, we cut my stimulation short because my estrogen got too high. I think the high estrogen event, prolonged for two months caused the polyps.
I’m annoyed with my clinic because they now don’t offer polypectomies (they are too busy with ERs). My regular OB can’t get me in for a consultation until July, and that is only for a consultation. I’ve waited 6 months+ for appointments at Scripps in the past.
