Hi all,

Almost Christmas, just trying to see does anyone know if Nordstrom Rack is still throwing away shoe boxes before sending out orders from the warehouse (not the stuff that is actually in the Nordstrom Rack stores)? At one point they always shipped nice pristine shoes, but then I think November 2024, I got some brooks in for family and every pair was without a box with a piece of paper letting me know they had the box, but threw it away before shipping to "protect the environment". Any change in that policy?

I am trying to figure out if I am just missing something, or if this is gone suddenly. I was going to setup a couple of projects as I keep using claude more and more on my desktop and have a couple of different companies, and don't want to mix memories, files etc. I went and created projects to separate it all into, and went to bulk move chats/coworks into those projects, which I have done in the past and it seems to be gone? Like the only options I see are select all, deselect and delete. Nothing else when bulk selecting.

Is there a different place to go now?

Prius I am looking at, 2015 C 128k miles, $6500, rebuilt from minor accidents, I have autobody experience, no airbag deploys, drives straight etc. Looks good basically. That being said, I saw some concerning stuff from Dr. Prius and the A/B trips had not been reset and show 5/7k miles at 21 mpg. The owner said they had changed the 12V battery last week, so it's basically only showing my test drive on all 3, which I pushed it hard on purpose and did a bunch fo stuff that would kill the MPG. IDK if that is accurate for what a prius does/does not clear on 12V pull.

The battery packs looked okay for the first 30~ minutes of me messing around with the car, stay sub 20 on internal resistance, but after I did the Dr. Prius tests, the pack started showing .28-.30 on the IR chart and showing yellow. And the two Full battery Tests I ran showed the info posted below. Also they handed me some paperwork from a diagnostic they had run on it a few weeks back, and I grabbed some photos from that. I have a decent bit of mechanic experience, but I am a complete noob when it comes to hybrids. I decided to walk away and told them I would reach out if I changed my mind. Should I change my mind?

Edit: Oh and I NEVER saw the battery gauge go over about 60%. Not sure if that is normal for a prius though.

Hi all,

So I have had this problem for awhile with toaster ovens and air fryers, especially the expensive ones for some reason? Where they just offgas a horrible smell, but until recently I hadn't had a airgradient to test the actual air. So after trying 5-6 toaster ovens and air fryers I finally found a toaster oven that didn't fumigate my home. Mind you I did the burn offs on the first 5-6. Over and over and over. It didn't work. One air fryer was so bad it even made the food taste like the smell...

So whatever, those are small appliances, easily returned. It's weird and annoying but not a HUGE problem (though curious if others have noticed this?).

here is my problem. I just got a new oven installed because the old one broke. And just like I was afraid of, the new oven ALSO is offgasing. I am running a cleaning cycle on it right now which makes it higher temp, but still this is rough, and it was bad the first time I tried it with a basic 350F bake cycle, which is why I'm running the clean cycle, trying to stop this. It has been running for maybe 30 minutes. ALSO I have a vent microwave combo that DOES vent externally through a roof vent, as I paid specifically to have that installed (instead of venting internally) when I moved in 5 years ago. So this is WITH heavy ventilation and the fan on the house climate control running to help reduce it...

Here are some photos from my Air Gradient. How bad is this really? How dangerous? Any advice on fixing this? I am pretty sensitive to this stuff I think. Having some chest constriction and a headache. Always do from this.

Hi all,

I have a standard doggy door on my back yard and want to be able to close my dog off from going outside. Good some reason Wi-Fi connected doggie doors are 300+ on a quick glance, which seems excessive. So I was think all I really need is a lock or rod to move physically in front of the bottom edge of the doggie door by remote. But not sure the correct search terms or where to find something like that. Thoughts?
