New... Republic?

It might be a bit of a hot take, but I really think the glazing went hard on alibaba when he came up with abolishing the monarchy and installing a republic instead, essentially, a democracy.

Before continuing, I have to remind myself that this anime is quite old, and at the time of its creation, democracy really was the almighty solution for every country. But today as a (french) person living in a so-called "democracy"... It's so frustrating :(

I still want to know what are your thoughts about this

My parents don't love their children, what should I do

The title is a bit of an engagement bait but let me give some background

So, my mom divorced my dad (more like kicked him out of the house) and after a long time she married a pastor, my step dad to me (F20), my little and big brother.

After a while, he brought his kids over to our country, I don't know the reason, but I think It's to study... Anyway it was basically 6 kids, in a cramped apartment with 3 bedrooms, 1 for my parents, 1 for me and my stepsister (the only girl of the loot) and 1 for 4 boys, and eventually their youngest also came to study so 5 in total. At some point I was also staying with my aunt and my stepsister in a room because she stopped sleeping in the living room (yes, we have an aunt too-)

So here's where I am coming from, we basically have 7 kids and 1 adult, to share two rooms big enough to fit two bed/bunk bed and very minimal space for table or just... living, breathing space, with most space being taken by each belongings (and it's not enough because we have a closet in the hallway)

With so little room like that, eventually tensions get high... And I guess because me and my brother viewed them as intruders at the time? We didn't get along at all. Not that we would argue or anything because we are all the avoidant type, but eventually it broke out in a huge shouting match with my stepsister with a physical fight... Not my most glorious moment.

Then I went away to college and she too, my mom reorganized the rooms and stuck my big and little brother with my aunt.

I genuinely think, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING TO STICK SO MANY PEOPLE IN ROOMS?? I resent my mom because she always wants to help people, but do not think about how it would affect us (or more like me, because as a girl I used to have a single room, but little occasions to enjoy it as there was always someone over)

If our apartment was even just 1 room bigger, maybe the atmosphere would be better by now.

Anyway now to the present, it's very weird. My step dad's way of parenting is... nonexistent, he is always either working on stuff, or holed up in his room praying or sleeping. As for my mom she makes little efforts to hide her favoritism towards us but especially towards my little brother (I am telling you, the youngest always has it easier when it comes to parents being nice to them 😖) and to my step brothers... She and her husband don't even acknowledge them most of the time except to tell them to get trash out, or reprimand them. My issue with this is that literally 90%of their interaction is just barking orders or about something negative. They make zero effort to bond and spend time with them...

I don't know what to do, ever since the fight with their sister, it's awkward between us and I really hesitate to approach them too. I complain about my parents for not looking out properly for them but in the end I do the same too :(

My mom is a big believer and friend with a lot of pastors. It used to be stifling because she used to stage intervention because I was too moody (because I didn't want to go to church or intervention) and shy (never had many friends omg do I make people run away-) anyway, there is this pastor who is staying with us lately, and clearly it's a prized friendship as she used to kick my big brother out of his room to give the pastor his bed. Lately there was once again another intervention for my shyness. It might seems to have nothing to do with the issue but here is the thing: I was half out of it and bored at the time but I remember him telling me that I could tell him everything and all the things weighing on my heart. I plan to tell him about how my stepbrothers are being... parented, and kind of use him as some sort of messenger to (hopefully) bring my worries over to my parents...

What do you think?

Did anyone else experience this? Chewing

Before taking iron supplements I had this urge, like desperate need to chew on something, mainly (or exclusively) ice or tissue.

I was wondering if anyone else experienced this? After taking iron supplements this urge just vanished and my wallet is heavier because I don't buy water ice so much anymore! And I think I can feel whenever my iron is low after not taking supplements for a while simply because this urge come back running.. all this time I thought I was a weirdo but it was just iron doing it's magic, (actually, I am still weird)

Honestly based on how long I've been chewing on stuff, I can guess for how long I've had iron deficiency and quite sure it began during childhood, the chewing wasn't so bad back then but a bit before going to the doctor this year it got so bad that at some point I got faint, black spots on my tongue that I think is from rubbing my tongue so hard on tissue (and I admit I am terrible at keeping any sort of routine and don't always brush my teeth, but I genuinely think it's because of the tissue chewing), I was also wondering if anyone experienced this on their tongue... It feels like permanent scaring and I am too insecure to even go consult a dentist or open my mouth to talk :(

Pain when horny

Every time I get horny, there's suddenly a pain in my lower abdomen. And the hornier I get the more painful it becomes. Like just let me get horny in peace TT

Anyone else it happens to?
