It's been months now since an update came, and since then, my Kindle (and some others, apparently) has not been able to read PDFs. I tried just today again, but it doesn't seem to work. Normally, I'd just buy the book that I want/need to read in Amazon, but there's a manual that I got from a course I signed up to, and obviously, this one isn't in the Amazon store.

So, meanwhile, I guess I'll have to keep burning down my retinas reading in my PC's screen.

Specifically for the NSFW generation. Free or not, it doesn't matter.

I have an Acer aspire 3 a315-21 that isn't working because I tried uninstalling and reinstalling windows (some updates were "stuck" and it didn't let it work properly, and it seemed easy, so...) and now I can basically do nothing with it, I've tried several methods (I can't even remember them all) achieving nothing, but I'm not an expert and I hope that there might be something that can be done by someone who actually knows about this. So is it worth trying, and should I take it to a technician? Or should I just let it die once and for all (if it isn't entirely dead already)?

I have this HP laptop with a capacity of 8 gb of RAM, and I was thinking about buying some more.

The thing is, I just realized it has a VRAM of 2 gb, and unlike the RAM, it can't be expanded (as far as I know, because I'm a rookie about all of this).

If my main intention is just to play some games with certain commodity (games that usually have 16 gb of RAM as a minimum requirement), would it be worth getting the extra 16 gb just to be sure? Or just the 8 gb to reach exactly the minimum requirements should be enough?
