Can attraction grow?

I recently met someone amazing. He is 50 and I’m 41. Not much of the age difference I guess but appearance wise he looks much older than me but he is tall and very handsome. He has been nothing but amazing and I do like him but usually when I’m seeing someone Im super attracted to them and especially with the last guy physical attraction was crazy and we had more in common. This is my first time feeling like this but he treats me really good so I want to give him a chance but can attraction grow over time?

I’m 41 and dating men around my age has been good so I decided to go on a date with someone older. He is 49 divorced no kids. I live with my kids full time so he doesn’t offered to come to me (an hour drive each way) for our first date and he said he doesn’t mind doing so all the time in the future, tall & handsome, old fashioned, great chemistry, didn’t let me pay for our date, walked to my car. We kissed and said good night. Next day we texted throughout the day and told me he is thinking about a Tuesday off since it’s the only day I’m off and get a hotel nearby. I told him that I don’t want to rush into having s*x until we are exclusive and wanted to be upfront about it. He said he doesn’t have a problem with it and he still wants to see me on Tuesday but since then he texts me less often now lol I thought older men are better but clearly I’m wrong 😭

I recently matched with someone on tinder. We are both in our 40’s and looking for a long term relationship. He has weekends off but I don’t so he asked me out last night before he goes to work. He lives an hour away but he drove to me, paid for everything, we got along great and he walked me to my car at the end said good bye. He told me he is willing to work with my schedule and will always drive to me because I have kids. Great. One thing I noticed was he was the first man who never complimented me about my appearance. Usually when I match with someone they always tell me I’m gorgeous etc even in person. I know it sounds dumb but my narcissistic ex husband was the same so I stated to wonder if this is a red flag. What are your thoughts?
