Prolly the dumbest thing I've ever made also for why Silver is there when life gives you Silver OM model you make him a tripping hazard

Suggesting ANYTHING but things to make the game more enjoyable🫩for some examples…

Trying to gut Silver to the point he’s unplayable even though he’s the only character in the game with his play style and making him worse than 0.1 tails would only be punishing people who don’t wanna just play stun slop

Saying Knuckles and Blaze need buffs when they already are annoying as hell to play against as killer

Claiming 2011x needs a buff like he isn’t a little pain in the ass with his invis techs and charges

Saying fleetway only needs a m1 fix ignoring his damn near invincibility and ability to nullify survivors moves even if he is stunned (not how a rush down works btw)

Only focusing on Kolo grab instead of making him better to play against with hitbox updates for charge and such along with more risk and more reward for him

Focusing on Sonic’s LMS instead of him not being able to help the team much at all and hyper fixating on guilt instead of him being a pain in the ass with his dodge and peelout usually hurting the team

Amy’s lms constantly being begged for buffs instead of asking for more consistency to make Amy more reliable instead of luck dependent

Crying about creams healing instead of actually looking at how she is built around balance wise and suggesting buffs and nerfs that actually fit into that style

This community is a loud majority of crybabies and these aren’t even half of what I hear and I dont see people talking about how to make the game more fun they all just think that balance = fun🫩

I keep seeing “Nerf Silver!”, “Remove Silver!”, and “Nerf Silver’s flight!” and I don’t think people realize a few things:
If you're getting destroyed by Silver, just play Trip or Fleetway. Edit: This isn’t meant to be a permanent solution but a temporary fix if your getting hard countered by Silvers in your lobbies

If Silver got removed, then Kolossos and Fleetway would need to be removed as well, since both are arguably far stronger and more problematic than Silver.

Silver without flight would be the worst character in the game by far, no contest. He becomes nearly completely defenseless and is basically free time for EXE.

So, here’s my own view on how Silver should be balanced, nerfed, or reworked.
1. Remove Time Reversal
Silver is extremely strong because of his survivability and mobility, and a big reason for that is Time Reversal. EXEs are generally balanced around survivors having two abilities, not three. Removing Time Reversal would significantly reduce Silver’s overall strength and likely bring him down from being the clear best survivor to being around Sonic’s level.

2. Adjust Flight
I have a few ideas, though I don’t think there’s one objectively correct solution.
Make Flight use Silver’s ESP meter instead of having a separate Flight meter. If this happened, Silver could receive a small ESP regeneration buff to compensate.

Limit Flight’s movement. For example, make vertical movement much weaker or make Flight function more like Sonic '06 Silver, where it only allows horizontal movement. In exchange, Flight’s duration could be increased.

Completely gut Flight, but heavily buff the rest of his kit. Make Suspension larger and impossible to instantly break out of, make Rocks bigger, less luck-dependent, and apply a longer slow, and add invincibility frames to his abilities since Silver currently has none.

3. Make Silver More Team-Oriented
Silver has the same problem as Eggman: a lot of players use him selfishly and contribute very little to the team. Giving him stronger support tools would encourage more teamwork.
For example:
Increase Suspension’s area of effect.

Allow Suspension to amplify stun durations.

Give Silver a more reliable way to apply slows and create space for teammates.

This would shift Silver away from being a survivor who mainly survives on his own and toward being a support-oriented survivor who helps the entire team.

Note all buffs to Rocks and suspension would include adjustments like increasing cds

I don’t believe this is perfect but I do think this is better than what most people suggest.

It’s just completely removed from existence with Silver being slotted in the next game that he can fit into (Rush 2) and Mephilles is put in the forever box as he’s not relevant but if you really want him he can be a unique villain to shadow gens there’s no mention of 06 at all what do you think would happen to Sega and Sonic?

IMO they work great together and if you take away shipping bias then they are amazing friends and have interesting powers and origins so hopefully individual games for both but it’s sega so prolly Silver x Blaze frontiers or smth soon
