How do I thicken up my monkey’s tail cactus
My Monkey tail cactus has been growing leggy ever since I got it (last fall) it’s been doing well since I put it outside (at the start of summer). But it still has leggy parts on the plant, from when it was growing indoors, under grow lights. Is there a way to “thicken up the leggy parts? Or is it just stuck like that? Should I cut off the leggy parts, and if so then when (now, or at the start of the next growing season)? And can I prevent this from happening again (do I need stronger lights or can I make it go dormant over fall and winter). Please help me or great cactus growers!
