I am a 28 year old man and I have 2 kids (2) and (5).

There mother is not in the picture.

I am a biology teacher with 2 children barely getting by on my current salary and my parents call me asking to look after Devon when they go away for a weekend trip. However this isn't the first time this is there 3rd trip this month and I can't afford to keep hosting a 22 year old unemployed man in my house. My children are afraid of him, he steals from me and always uses my stuff without permission my parents have a household income of around £150-200K a year and can absolutely afford to either bring him or hire someone to look after him however they keep sending him to me with an income of £56,000.

My parents continue to blame me for my brother's failures as he finished his highers with a fail in human biology (the subject I teach mainly) and they continue to blame me despite me not even being assigned his class.

Have I been to harsh by not letting him stay again?

I 27(M) teach secondary school biology generally S1/2 science and S3/4 bio and this year I only teach human bio at higher unfortunately

In my S3 class we reached the end of term as at our school we do our timetables for the next year for the month of June to get students ready, a student in my class who averaged 33% this year needed a grade of 60%+ to stay on the Nat5 course and he missed the end of year test for S3s, another student who also missed the test who had a 63% average aced the test and raised his average to 78% which in Scotland is an A.

The failing student missed both catch up dates for the rest and refused to do it at break or lunch so I had to count it as not done (0%) 40% is needed for a D pass and he needed 40%+ average to continue N5 opposed to N4

He had 5 chances to do this test and didn't turn up so I had to explain that to his mother, his mother is furious and called the school, the students year head contacted me and asked if he can do the test at a later date and I politely said no

This student had 5 chances and I have to submit his class for next year on Friday (student will be on holiday till next Wednesday despite it being the school term)

AITA for not lieing about him passing so he can be on the N5 course despite every involved member knows he didn't take the test

40-49% - D pass

50-59% - C pass

60-69% - B pass

70%+ - A pass

Desmond is Autistic (the high functioning kind)

He's passing every class, doing fine socially in school and everything's going well for him, as the oldest child I have a job as a biology teacher and I'm almost ready to move out.

At a family barbecue to celebrate my birthday Desmond was very angry about not being the centre of attention, I got given £100 from my grandparents as a gift and Desmond demanded £100 to match it, my parents gave him £50 and he accepted it, my grandfather then said Desmond can wait for the 29th of September (his birthday) and handed me another £50.

Desmond went insane and started throwing things around and while I was trying to protect Scott Desmond pounced on me and sunk his teeth deeper than a shark bite.

I moved out 2 weeks later and I have been getting calls from my parents constantly demanding I come home,

Desmond then saw me after work as he attends the school I teach at. While he does do human biology as a subject I do not teach him and after work he attacked me.

I want to press charges.

My cousin is a bum.

My cousin has been unemployed for 16 years since leaving high school at 16 (earliest legal age to leave in my country).

Tommorow at dinner his family came round to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday.

My cousin spitefully mentioned that I had gotten the promotion "over him" ????

And my aunt asked how much more I was now on, it was a rise from roughly £23,000 annually to £26,000 annually and 28,000 after a year.

My aunty sends a bill in the mail to my mother demanding £1500 pounds the next morning.

My mum asks why and my aunt says "for Desmond's half of the shift leader pay rise since he deserved it to"

My mum basically called him a fucking waste of space and a useless bum since he at 32 was trying to bill a 21 year old for a promotion that wasn't his!

The next morning at work Desmond showed me against the wall in spite and my hand fell in the deep fat fryer, fortunately it was off however that was grounds for us to fire him.

I sat at the chair in my manager's office with him behind us, we called Desmond in and I personally handed him his P45.

Desmond assaulted me outside work later today and stole money from me before attempting to do unspeakable inappropriate actions to me.

I am not pressing charges out of the good of my heart however I am not paying my aunt's new bill in my door from "£1000" for ruining Desmond's chances as no one else wants to hire him

AITA for not letting my brother steal the spotlight on my birthday

My brother was considering a summer buzz cut but was genuinely to scared to get it, so he begged my parents to pay him £85 to get it.

My parents didn't even want him to get it, it was his idea and they just paid him to do it.

So fast forward to the day before my birthday he gets his buzz the night before.

The next morning, while setting up for my family to come over I saw his cut. It was fucking terrible and I had to hold back laughter.

However when the guests came over everyone was enjoying themselves and a few hours later it was time for gifts!

My parents gave me £50 and my brother declared 'I believe you have a gift for me to!".

My parents took out £85 in cash and gave it to him on my birthday and a few people shifted uncomfortably as he received almost double that of the birthday lad!

My grandad then asked why and my brother summarised it for him.

My grandfather was shocked and took £85 from his own wallet and gave it to me, he stated: "If your parents will pay your brother for nothing, I can pay you for nothing."

This fucking outraged my brother and he crashed out badly!
