I’ve been reading about this concept called "The Amygdala Hijack" and how we should focus on architecture rather than willpower to manage stress. I found a book called "The 5-Minute Rescue" that’s free on Kindle right now and it talks about "Micro-Strategies" (like 60-second resets).
It sounds a bit too good to be true, but the science part about the Vagus Nerve seems solid. Has anyone else used these kinds of "micro-habits" to survive a chaotic schedule? I'm tired of the usual "just meditate for an hour" advice.
