Plaquenil allergy?

I started a couple weeks ago and have had an itchy face with swollen eyes for several days. I also had some small scabs appear on my back. My rheum sent me to PCP who sent me back to rheum. Am I allergic to this med or is it affecting histamine and a side effect that might go away? Any experiences?

Hi I’m wondering if this is common or as insane a she seemed. I was at a spravato clinic receiving therapy and near the end of appointment I heard a lot of talking. My therapist then let me know there was an event happening, and that guests were arriving. She seemed surprised and upset. When I left there was a full party, people coming in the elevator, name tags on. I found the event online and saw that guests were invited to arrive 1.5h into my 2h appointment.

Is it common for these places to be this unprofessional and aloof?

Hello friends! I’m new to lupus, just started HQL and have a lot of pain (feet, fingers, knees, shoulders…everywhere). I also have tachycardia, and am on oral minoxidil and spiro for hair loss that now appears to be lupus related.

I’m also a student and recently fell VERY behind in class and need to request accommodations but don’t know what specifically to ask for. The problem is sometimes my hands just don’t work well, or the pain is too much sitting in a desk. Any ergonomic set ups that work for you?

I’m having trouble knowing what to expect and how to take care of myself now and in the future. Are there any resources you recommend for learning? I want to feel more prepared.

Also wondering if there are any other medications or products that help you manage day to day. Have been thinking about a reclining chair, wedges for bed, etc…

Annnd, I do occasionally use some recreational drugs. Do other people? Will this be terrible in my kidneys? I’m scared to ask my doctor bc I don’t want it in my chart.

Just looking for information on the life ahead of me.

Any day to day tips? Products you recommend? Meds or tests to consider?

I basically just got the diagnosis and HQL and was sent on my way with no referrals. Follow up appointment in 3 mos. I want to do physical therapy bc I’m in so much pain…is this something you guys do?

Thank you in advance. I appreciate any advice you have, and I hope you are all okay today.
