Cerebral palsy and pain and arthritis

Hi 29F here with mild right side hemiplegia (CP) I have started to feel the aging side of cerebral palsy when I turned 26. Got a manual wheelchair and two canes to assist when it gets hard. Im very mobile and can work out with a hot sauna studio doing Pilates.

I just wonder what people used to start out with mobility aids? I’m wanting to purchase a walker where I can travel with it but my parents hate traveling with mobility aids of any kind and prefer that I keep excerising and not relying on mobility aids and renting ECVS when necessary.

Hi,

29F here with cerebral palsy in my right side. I have a manual wheelchair and two canes to assist with my pain management with walking. I get shots of pain either underneath my ankle or in my heel cord and it is a pain in my ass but was curious to know what do others use for mobility aids?

There is a lot of ableism about me needing verying needs of mobility aids depending on my pain levels and tolerance. I do 4-5 days a week doing hot Pilates which stretches my heel cord and foot but I’m starting to get arthritis in my foot
