DCYF ignores testimony from ENT stating parents deserve credit and did all they could to help child. The doctor explained how we loved our child and we were turned away by many other medical providers but continued seeking answers for our child’s breathing issues. That statemnt should have has a significant amount of weight in court. Instead the ENT doc was dismissed and never heard from again. DCYF ended up removing child from bio parents. Denied a family member to take child in another state even thought the state the relatives lived in was the state the child recoeved his specialized medical attention in. The relative was a 5 minute drive tot he medical providers. instead DCYF tookt he child and placed him in a foster home that’s nearly 45 mins away. They claim they had to keep him in Washington because of his medical needs although he could have been placed with a relative in Oregon whom lived not even 5 minutes from child’s medical team at OHSU. Is this legally correct? Is DCYF correct or not?
